Bobby is such a genuine down to earth dude. No wonder he's such a fan favorite in Milwaukee

It's just crazy because I was born and still live in Wisconsin and even though I have been a NBA/Bucks fan and it's just nice to see the state as a whole support this Bucks era team like they are and I love Bobby even more knowing how he got here. I have for awhile wondered why it feels like it's harder then it should be to find hungry talent like him to maybe not take top dollar but see the upside of playing for a team that is playing for rings with a great core of players one and off the court.

At the magic game, i saw bobby got an autograph and told him i’d see him in the finals, he looked me dead in the eyes and said “that’s the plan “ man that goal is so implemented in this teams mind they’re gonna be menacing in the playoffs this year.❤

That’s awesome man! He’s such a genuine guy. I had the pleasure to meet him back in Dec during the Bucks first visit to ORL of the season. He was the only Bucks player to sign autos that day and signed some cards for me and a friend. I also went on Tuesday when they came back to ORL too but this time Giannis signed for me!

@@MazevG As said from Bobby himself one reason why Milwaukee is successful is because of the culture of the ball club and of the location being no drama. He is a huge part of that on and off the court, which is enough for me to appreciate. People like that would inevitably become successful.

Small sample is right did u hear jj say averaging a double double off the bench? He was a huge impact on both sides on the ball his first season and tchampionship season with Milwaukee
My favorite part is around the 25:00 mark when Bobby is talking about Jrue and how he impacts winning. You can pretty much say that for every guy on that team; none of these guys came into the league as stars, so they've probably all had to do all of the little things on the court just to get PT. They've all had to learn how to impact winning
Milwaukee native here, Bobby is such a gem to our team and he the ultimate energy guy and teammate. Bucks fans basically gave him the key to the city and he deserves every minute of it
Love JJ’s interviews. Every player that sits down across from JJ really seem to be comfortable. As if they were just talking sports with guys at the barbershop. Keep em coming old man!
Bobby Portis one of my favorite guys in the league. Love everything about his game, and interviews like this take it even further
Love that story how Bobby called Giannis. BOBBY! BOBBY!
bobby is one of those players that his energy always makes you want to root for him. that is unless he's playing your team lol
Bobby Portis is that dude on the court can shoot defend rebound sorta playmake shot block etc...really underrated player
BOBBY! BOBBY! BOBBY!
Love it when the milwaukee fans chant Bobby! Bobby! Bobby!
Bobby Bobby Bobby Bobby I went to 3 home games this year and Bobby did his thang and we cheered Bobby all 3 nights, it was awesome.
Such a down to earth dude. Much love Bobby.
It’s cool the mayor of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, sit down with JJ
I didn’t know what to expect with this interview. I’m so glad I got to hear this story and learn about Bobby as a person. He’s a real hooper and clearly loves the game of basketball.

44:50 had me crying😂😂😂 this is an immediate all timer for the show, GREAT guest!!
Nothing but love for Bobby P from Chicago. All the Chicago fans knew his potential, but we went through years of horrible coaching decisions that completely tarnished our young guys progress.
Play random 😂😂😂 the legend of coach bud continues
In this moment Portis , Lopez and Holiday are three of the most beloved basketball players...in Greece!!
During the championship run I remember he barely played in the Nets series. To be able to understand your role and stay ready for when you’re needed like he was in the finals was just incredible.
From some odd reason, this was one of my favorite episodes, well done.
Met Bobby in Abu Dhabi before their exhibition game against the hawks, one of or if not the nicest down to earth athlete on either of the teams I spoke to

Everybody loves Bobby! Those guys coming out of Arkansas have been DOGS in the league. Love to see it
Been waiting so long can’t wait to hear his stories
Great show. I wish we heard more about the conversation with Giannis and his reaction to Portis calling out of the blue.
What a great guy! Really enjoyed this. Thanks again to JJ for bringing these players to us.
He deserves to be 6th man of the year for both his ability to score, but more importantly the hustle and energy he brings off the bench. The problem is that the award changed along with the league becoming more offensive oriented. I remember growing up watching guys like Tony Kukoc, Darrell Armstrong, Anthony Mason, Corliss Williamson and Antawn Jamison win the award cause they brought so many things to the game other than just scoring once they got on the court.
Malik Monk has been huge for SAC. Leadership points also. - definitely deserves conversation within 6th man debate
Omg Bobby just confirmed it: Bud tells them to play random
Part of why this podcast is so successful is just how honest JJ is and how comfortable he is with his perspective on things. He didn’t have to tie back the “weak perimeter defender discussion” to his own experience but he just naturally resorted to rattling off the bigs who held up the backend for the teams he played on. Huge respect for that. Love the pod!
Wow. Bobby is a treasure.
Man Bobby has got such a good chemistry with you guys in this Podcast. He gotta be with ya'll more often!
