BOBBY PIN NAIL ART - Acrylic Nail Tutorial

Hey guys,
In this video, we are jumping into Summer with some NEON colours. The real special thing about this video is the tools we are using to create the look. BOBBY PINS/HAIR GRIPS. Yes, that's right, we are using HAIR ACCESSORIES to do this look.
So this is the first time I've done this. I had a box of bobby pins and thought, what the hell, I'll give it a blast. and guess what, it worked a treat.
I love this kind of nail art design because it's all about the reveal when you do it for a client, they get all freaked out because honestly, it looks a bit of a mess when you just slap on the colours any old fashion. Not to mention the look they give you when you don't use actual nail technician tools.
But once you get the eFile out and whip off that top layer, to reveal the clean cut lines that the bobby pins made in the white which has been filled with those awesome NEON colours. their jaw will drop.
This nail is finished lovely with the glitter at the end. So much sparkle!! So you could use this as an accent nail, and use the other colours for your other nails. You could even use glitter in the depressions too, mixed with a bit of clear acrylic and boom you have glittering loopy bits.

Also, as an American I love our pharmacies too! In Japan we couldn't ever find a place to buy basic GI stuff, there are NO medications at the grocery stores.

Dotting tools, there are small heart cut outs like cookie cutters, they use with polymer clay they also make leaves and flowers as well.I absolutely love watching your videos,it would be great if you could come to the U. S😁

In 1899 the bobby pin came into wide use as the hairstyle known as the "bob cut" or "bobbed hair" took hold. It was invented in Paris by Luis Marcus. This trend gained popularity in the 1920s because the hair grips kept their bobbed hair in place.

If I ever get good enough at my nails, I'm totally going to do this but black instead of white and hat neon green for all the indents. That is just too awesome of a color and that glitter is beautiful too!!

Pretty summery nail. Could have used the crinkled end of the bobby pin or a paperclip for a back to school look. Now you got me thinking about all kinds of things, but I don't do acrylic nails I'm not a nail tech

I would love to see you do string art on a nail, where you take string or in this case thread and dip it in polish lay it on the nail in different ways and then drag it down the nail. Hope you know what I am talking about or at the very least I hope I explained it well enough. I love that you try different things and not just stay within mainstream nail art.
