I was absolutely gutted. In the late 80s I was going to turn pro when I was 16. I got my first sponsor when I was 15 in 1985 ( Argos ) I obviously wasn’t meant to get money from them as I was only 15 and still an amateur but I did. I was about to turn pro when I got dartitis and that was that. It wasn’t for another 6 years or so when Bristow got it I finally knew what happened to me. Totally devastated. I had over 50 ten darters before I was 16

Counting: You don't need to learn checkouts; with high numbers, go for treble twenty first and if the original number is odd then ur next target is an odd number!- you will then be left with an even number! Do the same for any high even number. Rules: odd number, hit another odd number and this leaves an even number. Even number, hit another even number to leave another even number. Remember that all doubles are even, so the always try to leave an even number!

Good tip i always tell people to go treble 19 if you're on an odd number below 90, another if you're on an even below 50 - 6/10 and 8/16 are right next too each other

Thanks Bobby the video is really very nice, you included some important tips which will help us the young generation in playing clear game of dart. As i'm 6 feet tall bull's eye is very perpendicular to my sight, so i need to throw dart very perpendicular to bull's eye and while throwing dart if i make it little rotate the in air before it shoots it helps me to prevent in swings and out swings and gives me absolute shot. And i also noticed that as i have long fingers i find little discomfort to hold small size dart. Please tell me should i go to 90% tungsten dart with long size that will help me to improve my accuracy?

Bobby was supposed to be training this person, but his last throw showed him moving throughout! If you can't throw without moving too much, then the line of the dart won't follow a line! Shame on you Bobby for not pointing this out! Darts is a very easy game if you know how to play; unlike football where you require speed and ball skills. Darts is basically just about raising your arm and throwing at the target, which never moves and is in font of you!
