Bobby George is one of the most straight forward honest genuine people I have ever met. This is Bobby George, playing in the Halstead District league friday night away to the Royal Oak in nineteen eighty something and Bobby George is sitting at the bar chatting to the landlord. I get put on in the singles and am scoring very well ta but could I finish, shook like a leaf. Scores for show doubles for dough. I did in the end and as was the custom away player calls the scores in the next game. After that Bobby gives me an "Oi, come 'ere". Bought me a pint and asked "what's all that shakin' stevens lark" finishing should be easy after scoring like that. And we chatted for the rest of the match unless I was on again about easy ways to find your way around the dart board and not getting stuck on the traditional "shot out". I've since been in his huge house while he was completing it to measure for flooring and he remembered my problem with the finishing. He's also a motivational mickey taker! Great bloke.

Darts is one of the greatest sports there is. There is no luck involved you either can do it or you can't.

Is Mr. Bobby George speaking with Cockney accent ? I'd like to join you guys and have a Talking Pint. may be some good stuff going through it. Mr. Farrage I admire you ! You are the UK's hero and every Brit should bow in front of you ! You have a solid fame you should be proud of. You should be the head of an army of people who really, really love Great Britain.

Julio: he’s not technically a cockney (you have to be born within the sound of Bow Bells for that), but he’s got a typical East London working class accent.

There are still pubs like that, you just have to look for them, yeah most of the local pubs in certain places are gone like where I used to live in the 80s, but there are pubs and even private clubs where people know everyone and regulars still go there.

I've got to comment on this! Bobby, is a great Gentleman. I played a darts match with Bobby at Barclay's Unicorn, Investment Trusts. I hit around, 120 on my first 3 darts. Bobby was under the cosh & he knew it! But, he quickly, trashed me! Consistency, is everything! Lesson learnt from Bobby! LOL
