Gutted that the BDO couldn't get Lakeside and BBC coverage this year.

These two had a great camaraderie on the coverage

That's also effective when you're standing in the slips or at short leg when playing cricket. Nothing better to put a batsman off. If you're fielding second in the match, just make sure you eat a few of the cheese and onion sandwiches at tea and you're away - as soon as you crouch into position, there she blows

yep... fair play to you two who have commented. I saw him on the EFL on Quest. He HAS calmed down. He used to be like a coked up jack in the box at one point though.

I'll admit I've been guilty of it!!!! There was this one player in my local league who hated slow players. At that time I had a ponytail so when I played him I always used to pull it tight before I threw. He used to lose it!!!!

I beat a guy (a better thrower than me) 3-0 in a pub final. Obviously embarrassed he accused me of slowing him down. Lame excuse from him as I was a fast thrower back then. Following week it was us again in the final so I did slow him down that time...and beat him 3-0 again. He went fkn ballistic!! Lol!!! He done me 3-2 a couple of weeks later with no incident.

He's had back problems as far back as the early 90s. In the 94 tournament, he shattered part of his back celebrating a victory, I think quarters or semis and had to play the final under immense pain.

I'm the sort of character that if someone did this to me I'd lose my rag and he'd win by default. But would never do it myself cos it's not in my character. My brother however is a Bobby George, he's a little bastard and to be fair he is good at it.

No one ever cited Keith Dellar's chalk or todays ripped out sisal, torn out with knurled points. Both very distracting. But the second is a definite no no for those players who can't throw the dart hard enough to penetrate the sisal deep enough to retain the dart.

This week use 5o be the week when the bbc would show the world championship. But the div at the bdo blew it. Should never of left the lakeside and should of stayed on the bbc

Compared to the PDC this is a joke!

And that's why BDO players don't make it to the PDC because a bit of shouting and they are put off

They mention it, Ted Hankey. Although a lot of current and & former players in the PDC will do similar things, Taylor, Bristow, Manley to name a few.
