Because geothermal power plants are always large, expensive, and need to be built over regions with underground reservoirs of hot steam or water.

Talents wasted! Sayang itong si Roberto de Ocampo, bumagsak lang sa pagpapatakbo ng isang bangko when his finance skills could have been channeled in a much greater impactful job. He was a good finance minister of 90s. He was so good he was rumored to run for prexy battling it out with the likes of Tabako and others. Pero yun nga sayang talento nagamit sana para mapaganda ekonomiya ng pinas.
