Bobbing along the river Thames with the boys
At last we were able to take my boys Elijah and Joseph off for a boat trip holiday! On the Thames again we started at Reading marina, journeying to Henley and back. It was a great weekend away with precious memories made together.

Wonderful little video. Thank you for sharing this with us. Lovely to see Elijah having a steer and doing such a good job of it. Great looking boat too. Henley is expensive to moor at too.
Ahoy to you all, what a delightful vlogs .. Lovely seeing your boys Julia there a credit to you . Lots of love to you both xx
Awe lovely family. Glad you had such a great time on the boat. Well done Elijah steering the boat . Julia, you are a fab captain as well as Mum. Glad to see you and Richard having time in nature and enjoying life ❤❤
Hello Sailor! So glad you have all you love on board Julia. What a lovely video! Much love to you, Richard, Elijah & Joseph 💜 😊 xxxx
That was delightful. Your handsome boys are growing up fast. Little Jo is not so little. Great cruise. Thank for sharing.

Fun she says...Absolutly stressful in such a noisy and busy place! Have a break have a Kit Kat
Looks peaceful, lovely place .💕
Another great boat trip! Thanks a lot for allowing me to come along and enjoy Henley and surroundings. Long time no see so it was lovely to remininisce!
What a lovely family video!
Idyllic. I envy and admire you two. You know how to live. I haven't been to Henley for over 20 years. Ate at Loch Fyne and walked along the riverbank. Lovely area. PS: Elizabeth Spriggs is buried in the churchyard. Some of Dusty Springfield's ashes are there as well. 🙂x
England seemed perfectly acceptable to me in the 1950s, I wonder why it so needed improving?

At least we won the war and we're not speaking German , imagine if we'd lost , we'd be second class citizens and Mohammed would be England's no'1 name for new born males ? Phew
Well I hope the boys enjoyed that outting. I've forgotten how rambunctious a four year old can be. At my age I think I could only tolerate about one hour of that. 😜🙄🤐
Lovely video. The birds looked like Egyptian Geese.
Hello sailors , nice to see you again 😂
17:25 Egyptian Geese, not ducks 😝
Great to see you 2? 4 ? Again LOL great kids
Beautiful names! Lovely children. I have a Jeremiah. He looks like a grumpy old testament prophet too! I walked the Thames path last year. Nearly killed me😅
Those mysterious ducks were Egyptian geese
Loving seeing you all on the water. What a great time together.
G'day - those blokes must be from my home - Oz
Beautiful cities, looks cold though
This was lovely, nice relaxing cruise on the river.
It's so interesting that Julia seems to be the dedicated 'captain' on these waters.... She seems very well versed in what she's doing. What happens if you can't find mooring spaces if you need to moor up on more open water like rivers??
So cool to see your neck of the woods, thanks for taking us along!
Super cute family ⚓️⛴
Thank you
What a lovely film.
Dear Richard and Julia... you brave brave souls!!! We did not take our 2 on a boat until they were 5 and 6 and that was on a canal!!!! I do hope you were headache free by the end of it!! Xx
Wonderful video, dapper cap, sir!
Golden Postbox = Olympic Medal winner from the area......I think 😉
Great video along the Thames memory’s made and past remembered, makes me think I should get my engine sorted although windmill first possibly.
Apart from its Regata and other posh activities Henley has a “Meccano Gathering” early in September (after Geof Wright who had one of the last dedicated Meccano shops in UK) Meccano was a very British toy that had implications far beyond its immediate children’s appeal in that it helped create a generation of engineers across the World until eclipsed by modern computer games etc.
Should have gone to Notting hill carnival , apparently it's a blast

Really enjoyed this video thank you. Good to see you altogether. Well done Skipper Elijah on having a go at steering the boat top job and Captain Joe for his excellent navigation skills through the bridge! At this rate you'll be doing the filming next - watch out Richard! Sorry to hear you got stung Julia poor you. Hope you're okay now 💜.
Time has no meaning, when you live your own life. When you live your own life, you have time for everything 🧐☺️😘🤠💪
Hi to you all hope you all e joyed your time. on the boat Jo looked as though he liked it ❤
Sweet Thames runne softly, till my song is oer
Wonderful video. Any chance we can get interviews with each lad by their friend and male role model, the fabulous Richard Vobes? What are their interests, how are they coping with the changing world? Young folk have interesting and valuable perspectives and may just end up being as engaging as any guest entertained so far. Being someone often begins with being valued for oneself. 🥰
Great does richard still do a podcast

On your new one now guy’s, you have another friend called Nigel!! Me lol x
As a flat cap wearer Richard put it down more over you forehead and eyes !!
Back in the seventies I hired a boat like that and took the family down the Thames. I discovered that the people of Henley are the most obnoxious, arrogant and uneducated mob of overly entitled gits I have ever encountered. Some of these fools were failing to respond to my repeated warnings of my approach as they fooled about around me in their punts. So I increased the throttle to create turbulence and sank the stupid things and they had to scramble to the bank. They didn't do it again.
You and richard ok? Not seen videos for 3 days.😮❤
