Hmm not everyone Is all the time, but he displays a lot of characteristics we should all gather around to learn from.
I'm feeling really awful today, so I came here. it seems like this is one of few rare wholesome corners of the internet, of the world even. Ya'll ever feel like that? maybe it's just me; maybe it's not. So I'm gonna head back to watching ol' bob here, so yall keep scrolling. hope you have or had a good day, and that you have a goodnight as well.

Yuppers my friend, Bob is certainly an oddity. You could probably call him the eighth wonder of the world, “The Man Who Is Nothing But Good, Wholesome, and Happy With No Dirt On Him Whatsoever”.
Not only is Bob's voice soothing, but the sound of the brush scratching against the canvas relaxes me a lot too.

Here I am, crying at a Bob Ross video... I have always wished I was good at painting and Bob actually makes me feel like I could do it... He's so patient and gentle and so good at explaining how to do it without making it too complicated that when I watch him, I want to do it too.
@RawrasauRX-78

Do it, and dont stop after your first try. It's one of those things you just learn as you go and you let your creativity be free. Anything you put on the canvas will be just right, there's no wrong in art :)
I love Bob Ross's paintings. What a talent he is. I cannot imagine painting with such a large brush, will have to practice because what he produces is totally amazing. He is so calm, and that voice….kind of chills you out. I know he is physically gone but he definitely lives on through his teachings. Thank you for the lesson Bob Ross.
"Now then," Bob Ross...luv when he says that..."God was having a good day when he made Alaska," Bob...God was having a good day when he gave us Bob Ross...think paint with Kevin is a new generation of Bob...looks just like him..and twirls that brush when he makes clouds like Bob...wow....
He didn't beat the devil out of it, nor did he say "God Bless". We're in trouble now.

I always loved watching the joy of painting. Bob Ross was a terrific painter, he always made his paintings come to life . Just listening to his soft voice while he was painting, sometimes I’d fall asleep in the middle of the show . Over all , his show was a joy to watch , I loved it .
The way he painted those clouds was exquisite. *chef’s kiss*
I love black canvases!
8 paintings later ive got better .. thank you Bob
I get kind of worried that Bob is going to get paint on his left sleeve from the palette .
Bob was right - anyone can paint with time and practice. But Bob's real gift was the way he spoke. He had the charisma of an energetic motivational speaker, and the gentleness of a Buddhist monk. He also was able to virtually personalize each session, and speak to his audience not only as if they were individuals in a private painting lesson, but speak to them as if they were a personal friend. Those who met him are truly lucky; his friends and family are truly blessed.
I don't know of if I'm here for the painting or the voice.

ASMR :)
Bob Ross has sadly passed. But he loves on through his paintings. I love Bob Ross. Sadly it's like those future movie where the guy replays his memories. Bob Ross is a legend. When i watch his videos it's like he is still alive.
2020 and still watching Bob paint! He has left us all a little richer and little more confident with what we like to paint, or even for those who just want to relax and watch him paint.
Watching this is the perfect way to start a peaceful Saturday morning, along with my second cup of tea.
He made things look easy, he even chose the simplest of words to make sure everyone understands. I personally love to paint in my childhood but few things came in the way as distractions and I find myself not being able to paint as good anymore, but the fact that Bob was able to come up with a beautiful painting in half an hour without even doing preliminary sketches baffles me! Talk about talent!
Bob's hand paints beautiful scenes on canvas. Bob's voice paints peace on the human soul.
i love bob ross. brings back some great great memories as a child for me.
I been watching Bob Ross on channel 11 for years he is so well know threw out the world he is one of the best painters ever I learn so much from Ross very kind man he is a legend bless you Bob Ross
I don't get the ASMR from his voice but damn if it isn't relaxing. My Papaw and I use to watch him every week when we came on TV. Thanks for the memories Bob. A true Legend

@@oikawahidaichi8204 I've recently started giving this a shot, I've done 6 so far and the last 2 have been significantly better than the previous 4. I think they are pretty good, and people who see them can't believe I did them. They are still noticeably less detailed and real looking then Bob's though. It really is a nice way to spend a couple of hours though. Way better than playing about on the computer.

Bob Ross did a lot with his paintings without a lot of effort. He always called himself a lazy painter, but I think all his paintings are masterpieces.
This is another gorgeous little painting. I love his voice. So, relaxing. So, calming. The sound of the paint brush on that canvas always puts me to sleep.

I know your comment is a year old but I like that even though Bob is gone, there are people out there like you who are practicing what he's teaching. My dad did a painting of a pond in a green forest with tall tree trunks. It was based on a Bob Ross painting, if you or anyone can remember an episode like this I'd really like to watch it. Dad painted it probably 15 years ago so we can't remember which one he used.

Note in this episode how spry Bob is. Naturally he would be more energetic than say series 23, some nine years later (he shot two series per year), but I almost feel like this one was run back at 1.25x the speed. Either that or he REALLY had his coffee before shooting the one. ;)
