Seemsayin This comment being “lame” is your opinion. You say that “this comment is the reason depression exists” is not true, it’s not even an opinion. And question the word “imma” is like asking what “y’all” means. It’s an easy way of speaking English, but if English is not your first langue it’s okay! Also, getting annoyed at some hitting enter when you did the exact same thing, multiple times...is hypocritical. I’m guessing that you were in a pretty bad mode to right a comment annoyed at a joke, so I’m here to tell you to fuck off or Bob Ross will beat the devil out of you from heaven. No hard feelings!

Well turned out my sons are all artists and I to have a little artist in me (, not much ) just enough to satisfy myself and get rid of stress. But my one son turned out to be a great artist and he owes it to Bob Ross who inspired him throughout his young life. My buddy told me that Bob Ross didn't do complex paintings and that he wasn't that skilled but amazing at teaching. I thought that was false. Bob can paint pictures in 20 mins, live, that most people could only dream of. Yes his technique is relatively simple, but think how good this man could paint in a non-live setting with ample time. Hours, instead of 20 mins would really show this man's talent. But he isn't the kind of man to show off. He wanted to teach, he wanted to inspire. And that's what's made home great.

Wet on wet is meant to be quick and relativly simple to copy, but not learn, of course. It excels at landscape paintings from far away but any closer and it would be null. It’s a bit like impressionism in that way. Furthermore, any more detail and he’d have to stop using wet on wet. By then, it would just be a less detailed version of realism. So yes, your friend is correct.

Mastering a simple technique does not diminish one's skill or ability. If someone is talented at playing the harmonica, it doesn't mean he's less of a musician than someone who mastered classical piano.
