Painted this today with my 10 year old. How is it that it takes us over 2 hours for us to make a , not as nice, painting? He was such an amazing artist. Love how easy it is to follow along. Another painting tomorrow!

I've completed 5 Bob Ross paintings and every time I crack up when I beat the devil out of my brush.....lol some people say his paintings had no life.....with..just proved him wrong , he put light in the windows , Peapod the squirrel was in the cabin...lol Love ya Bob...RIP .

Light background color in your sky , feather it out really good , use a little liquid white with Titanium white and load the brush up well , using #6 fan brush lightly use the edge and go in circles un-uniform , sparatic then blend lightly with 2 in. brush , fluff...waalaa . Hope that helps you .🌲🌲☁️☁️

It was once a marvel about 125 years ago (or about 65 years ago if you're talking about small/portable wireless technology). By 1986 when this episode first aired, wireless technology was common as dirt. You could even get cheap toys for kids with wireless technology by 1986, such as radio-controlled cars and walkie-talkies. The invention of the transistor made portable wireless devices possible, such as the "transistor radio" - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transistor_radio - which came along in the mid 1950s.

Vanessa W Jesus Christ, that's not ASMR. Bob Ross videos are very ASMR but your description is garbage. People have known certain sounds are relaxing for as long as time is old. ASMR attempts to describe actual neurological reactions that occur and it goes far beyond just a soothing voice or tone. It's About why some people get goosebumps and their blood pressure dives after hearing the sound of the fan brush... some people even get sexually aroused and cum their pants.

Sometimes I cry when I watch Bob Ross, it’s this weird mix of happy and sad tears because I love to watch bob and he makes me feel so calm, but I miss him so much.

Since it's December, watching him paint winter scenes is appropriate

You know, Bob's little cabins and barns never fail to get a chuckle out of me. They're always, without fail, slightly lopsided or leaning in one direction and they NEVER fit into the scene very well. But he just seems so excited and happy to add them that I love them anyways.

I just wasted 2 happy days watching Bob Ross....and those were the best happy days

Bob Ross was a veteran, who served in the air force for 20 years. Thankyou Bob Ross for your 2 decades of military service to our country. And this great show, of your wonderful artistic gift you have left us with. Happy painting, & God bless.

Alex I agree on his skill with depth, when I first began, although it was pretty decent, depth was one of those things I just couldn't master completely at first. I mean, even today I'd still say my depth could use some work. He was a fantastic artist, all in all, honestly.

cool guys thanks for the insight, he reallt makes it look doable by a novice. he was certainly a fantastic artist and teacher I'm planning on picking up oil painting as a hobby this upcoming year I'm gonna have alot of Bob Ross vids on my screens!

I mean it's harder than he makes it look, but with a little practice and determination you could achieve decent results. I dropped hundreds of dollars on painting equipment just because he made me feel like I was able to do it but I wasn't... at least not then. Maybe one day.

eventhough there are 649 people that do not like this. there are way more that do. thats the positive statistic i like. Bob Ross is and was amazing

he always had a little giggle to himself when he beats the brush off. as a child I used to watch in amazement as the pictures came together and I still do to this day. paints some beautiful picture's....

we lost a good man.. RIP Bob Ross..
