I find that his voice and mannerisms to be quite calming. I drive a truck and play his videos on KZread and listen with my Bluetooth. It has a way of getting rid of road rage. Thank you Bob Ross for all that you did, during your time on Earth.

I love bob ross so much 💞 he is the reason why I am interested in painting. I will stay up all night while I was pregnant watching him paint, it was so relaxing and soothing his voice calmed me and I assume my son loved it because I would listen to it every night for hours and hours ❤️ now my son is 3 years old and I still watch Bob Ross & occasionally my son will watch with me

The Joy of Painting was canceled in 1994 so that Ross could focus on his health; the famous TV instructor and host had been diagnosed with lymphoma around that same time. Ross died from lymphoma at the age of 52, on July 4, 1995, in New Smyrna Beach, Florida.

He’s a hero to everyone

The way he says 'titanium white' REALLY peppers my gumbo. I can't be the only one who finds him immensely attractive. It's like, don't even come for me if you don't have a shirt with the collar unbuttoned JUST SO, a permed fro, soft voice, and the ability to beat the devil out of things. I ain't buying. Bob Ross forever.

1st time I heard of him was on the show the Goldberg's and then I heard his name again so I looked him up and glad I did. He makes me feel at peace like everything is gonna be okay .

He is the greatest painter of all time Deal with it

Maybe somewhere in the trees there is a little log cabin where I could live without anyone bothering me and let nature heal my broken heart.

He talks while he paints because it's more soothing to his own self. If there were no cameras I bet he'd still be talking just like he's doing.

I would shriek in disbelief if I ever witnessed Bob yelling obscenities at new recruits while he was a drill instructor in the military. It's just unimaginable to me, he's such a gentle soul.
