@LoneWolf69sg look at the principals of religion they are just basic ways of living trying to make a better world. But humans have corrupted it into there own ways to benefit themselves. Look at the 12 commandments only trying to make it abit more civilised. Now yes religion has probably held back humanity a good few hundred years by them being so stubborn. So am not a pro religion nut trying to convert you I see the logic behind religion just ruined by humans once again.

I mean, God is brilliant, apparently, but illiterate, illogical, immoral & self contradictory. "Thou must not kill" But kills off the entire human population in the flood. Orders the murder of every man, woman, boy & goat of a city, but instructs his army to keep the virgin girls & women for themselves. ""Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" But condones slavery & gives specific instructions on how to do so. "He who so believeth in me, shall have eternal life" But if you don't, I'll burn you in hell for all eternity!! But I love you!" Demands a blood sacrifice, (really himself) to cleanse the sins of the world of arbitrary rules he made up himself, & could just forgive us without requiring any bloodshed. Dies, in a futile gesture that changes nothing, then comes back to life! So, where was the sacrifice exactly? The 12 commandments, actually hundreds, doesn't contain anything about NOT keeping slaves, & comes from the Old Testament, when God was his most intolerant, capricious, murderous, immoral, thin skinned, sociopathic & misogynist. He is all powerful, yet the devil bests him every single time, & there's nothing God can do about it! The devil kills 6 people, but the moral & all loving God murders millions in the bible alone! Which one is the evil one again, I've lost track? & we supposedly get our morals from this hideous creature! & God didn't foresee any of this going off into a ditch!!

I watch his videos every night before bed, absolute legend asmr king 🙏🏻 rip bob ross 2024 still here!

I’m so happy that all these are on KZread so anyone can watch them, letting people like me and so many others who were born in a time after it had aired and letting older fans rewatch them, now everyone can truly experience the joy of painting, I also feel like this is exactly the sort of thing bob would have wanted, so thank you to all the people behind the channel.

Watching Bob brings back so many happy childhood memories, and the reason I have so much art equipment, I'm not that good but not that bad as I did alot of partying then had a family young but its great teaching my daughter how to draw fruit, faces, very detailed eyes ect she thinks I'm the best which is amazing 🤓

Love this video! Bob Ross was a great artist and a wonderful, compassionate, human being! He was a source of inspiration to me and many others and the reason why I started to paint. I recall him saying in one of his videos, "Go ahead. Start painting! You'll be amazed at what you can do if you only give it a try!" Well, ... I tried and with a little practice, I discovered that I CAN paint! And I thank Bob Ross for that! Bob, you are truly missed!!!!May you RIP!

Exact same here! He made me believe that I had it in me to do great things. Appearing SO easy, so fun, so quick...I think he was right! I got some fierce competition nowadays tho lol

He's most recognized for his landscapes, but I think his seascapes are the real gems...so awesome...

Only just discovered The Joy of Painting and Bob Ross on BBC4 in the UK and I am fascinated not only by his incredible talent but what a genuinely lovely man who was so sadly taken too soon from this World, RIP Bob and God Bless You

Bob Ross is a blessing to humanity ! His philosophy of life transmitted through the art of painting which is the expression of his kind soul to help people stay positive and in peace. The man wasnt aware of how much of an impact he made in peoples lives. He is a source of calm and pure ASMR. God bless his lovely soul !

Mr Ross I've enjoyed watching your fantastic paintings I've done a painting myself. But I'm not to sure about it everyone ask what art class I went to but I have never had a class in my life . The painting I did I named The Storm but I think I messed up on my lighting. Could you do a storm with lightning in it please. God Bless Thank you

I think creative expression such as this connects one to the very essence of what we are. Bob's divine and gentle nature comes across in his words, brush strokes and every movement. Absolutely authentic! 🙏

Listening to this while doing homework. Ordinarily people speaking makes it harder for me to focus, but I want to see if Bob's calm demeanor will clear my head somewhat rather than having, say, a hyperactive streamer in my ear.

What a remarkable painter and calm demeanor. Kudos to Bob Ross.

I just completed this painting, when Bob is explaining what he does to the canvas before he begins, I believe he means to say pthalo blue instead says green. Talk about a happy accident, the colours in the sky and water become a beautiful purple instead of the blue that you see in Bob's painting

Every time I see the waves, I hear the theme from "The Rescuers" in my head. Stunningly beautiful.

Talking about the Disney film? If so, yes! I remember the paintings of the message in the bottle, it was strangely haunting, but beautiful nonetheless.

Alizarin crimson, Phthalo blue (i’m pretty sure he meant blue not green), titanium white, cadmium yellow, yellow ocher, vandyke brown, burnt umber, and a touch of sap green. This could be done with a 1 inch brush, fan brush, A painting knife, and a liner brush. In an optional 2 inch brush for blending. I’m bout ready to tackle this one, wish me luck

@@lenafromnola so good that I eventually did another one in the spirit of this one on a 2x4 foot board with the light house on one side and a cove on the other. One side night and fading into day. I expoxyed the board and made it into my living room table.
