Pretty hard to imagine that good ol' Bob used to be a First Sergeant in the US Air Force. In his own words, he was "tough" and "mean", and "the guy who makes you scrub the latrine, the guy who makes you make your bed, the guy who screams at you for being late to work."

I'm pretty sure, that prior life made him and he wouldn't be the Bob Ross we know without it. He probably exhausted all the bad temperament, anger and other feelings in his early life and became a master of self contentment from it.

I have tried to imagine Bob screaming orders at men while he was a sergeant in the air force. I just can't picture that. I can see him smliling and saying, " OK men, let's make some happy little beds."

I think it's his beautiful voice, and the way he always sees everything as positive! No such thing as a mistake, just a little happy accident ^.^ Plus the paint brush sounds on the canvas, the brushes and knive's on the board.. His warm and welcoming voice. Such a beautiful man with a beautiful soul. Rest In Peace you legend. Know you'll always have a place in my happy little heart

I think that for most people the last time they heard the combination of a caring friendly voice combined with colors and paper sound was in kindergarden and hearing this again brings them back to that feeling of being a worry free very young child.

I love his paintings and the way he would talk to the camera like he was speaking to you personally.

I’m raising my kids right. My 4 and 8 year old wanted to watch Bob tonight instead of a movie. Proud mama 🧸

Only the real ones remember getting up early to catch bob painting at 10 in the morning

"Odorless paint thinner, shake off the excess and just beat the devil out of it" lol As a kid Mr Ross was always a joy and an inspiration to me with a equally joyous humor to match

its hard to believe this man yelled alot when he was in the military, infact thats what made him choose to live a more quiet life after leaving the service.

This man is definitely one who I wish we had here longer. What a beautiful positive he gave the world, mentally and visually.

Bob Ross is the voice of hope.

I come by to visit Bob most times before bed. I love Bob. All I’m saying is

God was having a good day when he made Bob!!

I never seen any videos from this fine gentleman, i cried when he painted (so easily) the "friend" of the tree... This video just gave me another vision of life.

I just adore how he pronounces the names of the colours, specifically "hwhite", hehe. Such a lovely soul Bob.

I think Bob Ross video comment sections is the only place on the internet where everyone appreciates the same thing.

Bob Ross was a great man, I listen to him everyday now. I was not born until way after he was dead but I greatly appreciate him. He helps me sleep, thank you Bob.

My grama woke me up crying in the other room my dad went to check on her and she was "freezing cold" it's the middle of summer and I'm so hot I'm sleeping with a frozen water bottle I was kinda freaked out then I was about to go back to sleep and put on this video right after the commercial was finished within the transition I heard a clap like someone's hands right beside my face its exactly 3:00Am in the morning I'm so afraid it might of been my water bottle but it was so loud it pierced threw my headphones and my tv it's now been 15 minutes and I'm still shaking in my boots I'm sleeping with the lights on

Yes you re right , God must have big deal when He creates Alaska with many happy great mountains n hills with happy thick snow covering every of them creating happy fantastic and charismatic mountains .layering by a fam of happy willow trees there, a happy baby tree standing by happy big maama tree , happy brothers n sisters trees .you bring all together in beautiful way .....Loooove it !!

For now I've been just watching these videos just for the dopamine inducing sounds. Someday I should get into painting and follow one of these tutorials.

Aaw I became relaxed in a much different way when starting this video and having had subtitles activated because of an earlier video. I was already in a good-humoured state (being able to laught about really simple things) and when the intro started the subtitles said "Elevator music" and I was in stitches for a good couple of minutes.

I love those cross criss strokes.
