If u didnt know he made the original before he made copy so every time hes says there is no mistakes only happy little accidents it doesnt really mean that but what he was trying to do is remove the fear of making a mistake

He does masterpieces while it seems like he just randomly moves a brush. He is amazing

“Because I could find freedom on this canvas.” Bob Ross was a gem🌻

I tried painting along side him as a child with some cheap watercolors I had. It was during the summer at my grandma's. She couldn't afford cable, so I watched PBS all the time. It was fun, but I remember having a hard time keeping up and being disappointed that it didn't look exactly like his lol.

Whenever i have a bad day, or whenever my boyfriend isnt there to comfort me, or when im so stressed that I can’t sleep, Bob is always there. He’s made so many people’s day better, and i know at least for me that im incredibly grateful for him to have existed

Bob Ross is magic. I had 'painters block' for about 2 months now. Might be because i stoped smoking...I have no idea... I sat with this video and a canvas for 2 hours now, and what can i say... Its probably the greatest thing ive done for myself in the past 2 months. Throughout the video i found out that i am actually painting with a smile, whilst listening to his sweet and kind voice. Very helpful video. Thank you Rob!

Bob was the only artist to inspire happyness through friendship with your art work. The most positively peaceful person as well. Whoever disliked the video clearly hates happyness.

I really believe that sometimes God lets Bob Ross paint the skies. I watch the endless skies and sunsets that are unbelievable where I live. The next time you see a rainbow remember that Bob Ross painted the sky that day. 💖

Painting helped him get through 20 years in the military because he could find peace in the world he created. Omg this man 😭

i remember waking up on saturdays when i was 7 to watch bob, i never woke up early enough to see the title screen so i never knew his name, but he fueled my love for art. now here i am in my room watching him on youtube while drawing, being inspired by him to this very day.

him saying “maybe i’ll get a chance to meet ya” made me sad that i’ll never be able to actually meet him. what an amazing guy.

Bob Ross would probably be ashamed of what the world has done. But he would also be proud of the advanced we made. That's why I love him cause I would find good in the world even when it's hard to find

He paints one first then puts it out of camera view and uses it for reference. Saw this at his old studio at his home. He has done so many of these, thousands. Ross could do them without thinking. Just repetition, over and over again. He would do all the whole seasons worth of paintings in a weekend for pbs. If you watch a lot of these you will see the repetition he uses.

He's inspired me to buy my own paint set and give it a go. I can't wait

Man, this comment section is so positive. I got my own oil paints and tried it myself using Bob's expertise and it's not easy at first but it's a worth while experience that really anyone can do

Whether musicians, architects, painters, etc...i admire all kinds of talented people. Bob is without a doubt one of the most talented human beings that ever lived, cannot get enough watching him do what he did best!!!#beatthedevilouttathatbrush

Bob Ross was a awesome painter . I loved watching his show everyday around 2:00 to 3:00 . My mom would always say.. ( your shows coming on ) 😊 . I would sit on the happy little sofa and just watch in amazement at how Bob would paint . What Bob don’t know was … he was actually doing ASMR , his nice relaxing voice would lull me to sleep 😊 . I Would wake up and my show was over .. I missed it lol . None the less, I just truly enjoyed this show.. if my parents Would have had a VHS player and blank tapes , I would have recorded these shows and watched them over and over 😉

When following along with him, he’ll do something like putting a random tree just Willie Nilly, and I’m like....”oh no Bob what did you do? “ And before I can finish that thought, he’d already turned it into the most beautiful random tree that even God might envy! Man when Bob Ross goes crazy he really goes all out!!! this man has no fear at all!

I used to watch these episodes way back in the day when they were on tv. And came across these about a little less than an year ago and I wasn’t in a good place. And started watching a few here and there. And they instantly brought calmness and brought me out of the sadness for a while. Sometimes before bed I’ll see one pop up and I’ll throw it on before I sleep.

I love how he just paints and doesn’t care what it looks like he just goes with the flow and how he doesn’t sketch out his design he just goes for it and makes it work

His voice is sooo peaceful and calm... I actually fell asleep as I was watching... I just woke up now realizing that my data was still on and bob ross was on...

I love Bob Ross and his episodes it makes it fun watching painting and he's so good at it too!

Bob Ross is one of my earliest memories( b.'82)....trippin my asmr before I ever knew what that was.....and seeing it now, after sampling "asmr videos" upon learning the term, I can understand why.....with the close,intimate sounds....the focus of Mr Ross .... the task edging toward completeness......he was a spectacular artist....
