@@user-vt4hd8hb4vI don't know that's what they're talking about. Bob Dylan is just not very well musically trained. That doesn't mean his singing is bad, the end result is great as it is and also it's kind of his style. People like it. But in this footage he is clearly struggling. Also, I think this doesn't have anything to do with how "big" he is. He's one of the greatest but his real strength lies more in poetry than in making music. It's kind of like putting a talented high school big band member into a top symphony orchestra, they're just not on the same musical level but they would probably still make great music together.

@rifstr he perfectly knows what he's good at, which is not singing "we are the world". he'd like to play it frankly without bringing aesthetic matters into play, but the fact that everybody is cheering him up is humiliating. so he sometimes has a hard time not telling them to shut the fuck up. like he didn't know that everybody knew it was just a matter of making it not so bad that it had to be cut, with no chance at all of it being "good". but everybody (apart from stevie) was too nervous to behave.

@Donna King, yeah it's not his style here that's the issue, his voice is just shot to hell. And I was a teen loving Dylan and now a senior citizen loving the teen Dylan. Not sure quite what went wrong with his voice. Could be some health issue - ?? Love his style too though, man this was quite rough he could have sung it not sure why he was so confused. I found it hard to watch...there are other clips of singers not getting their parts right either though the focus on a legend will get you more clicks!!
