Try "It's alright ma" "A hard rains a gonna fall" "Gates of Eden" "Changing of the guard" or just about anything. As far as lyrics, not music, the man is untouchable! His song list just goes on and on. It's amazing his writing style! The only musician to ever win a Pulitzer award and a noble prize in literature. He's definitely the greatest songwriter! If his songwriter skills were a mountain he'd be Mt Everest and 2nd place would be an ant hill. 😆

@@1Jameskellyoh please, cohen isn’t in the same universe. I heard they once met and cohen told Dylan that it took him 10 years to write “Hallelujah”, and that cohen just kept honing the song and re-writing it, re-crafting it for years. Dylan just looked at him and said “that’s nice”. Cohen then got self conscious and asked Dylan how long it took him to write “blowin in the wind”. Dylan, without any hesitation, said “5 minutes”. True story. People with the type of effortless talent that Dylan has come along once every 100 years. I’m talking about people like Shakespeare, dickens, Mozart. That’s pretty elite company.

Im so sorry for your loss. My mum used to play a lot of Bob Dylan growing up. She passed away this year. I'm also grateful my mum done the same for me. A lot of his songs take me right back to the times when my mum would pull her speaker out and we'd listen to them together and sing along ❤️ Had the opportunity to take her to see him live at the Sydney opera House. I cherish those memories. Do you have a favourite Bob Dylan song ?

What a great song this is. I think it's an under appreciated song. Almost every line could be expounded upon. It's one of Dylan's songs that he couldn't have written when he first started out. It takes some living first, before someone can write a song like this.

I don't think that I will ever forget the first time that I heard Bob Dylan. My mother was a big Bob Dylan fan. She started listening to him in 1961 or so, when she saw him perform onstage as a guest of Joan Baez. He was practically unknown then. It may have even been before his first record came out. Now fast forward 10 years to around 1971. I was a kid in elementary school, and one day my mother came home with a copy of Bob Dylan's Greatest Hits. She put on Subterranean Homesick Blues, and I remember that as soon as the drums and electric guitar kicked in, I started rolling on the floor and laughing uncontrollably. The wild beat and the crazy rhythm of the words were like nothing that I had ever heard before. We played it over and over again. Bob's music has been a huge part of my life for half a century since then. I keep listening, and each time I hear things that I didn't here before. What a truly amazing artist.

Alweer "a timeless masterpiece".

I always thought I was experiencing the "Mandela Effect" or whatever it is because this biography said that Mark Knopfler recorded music with Dylan. Thank you, Mr. Dylan, for uploading this. You both are legends in your own right. I seen you in Toledo in 2007, you rocked the city and gave me a love for blues music. Charley Patton, Son House, Jimmie Strothers and many more would be proud of what you did for the music world.

1983 was a great year for Dylan, vocally. Especially this song, Jokerman, Sweetheart Like You… I would discover him about 10 year later due to my young age, but still the “Infidels” album remains one of my top 7 favorites by Dylan ❤️

Man thinks 'cause he rules the Earth, he can do with it as he please And if things don't change soon, he will Oh, man has invented his doom First step was touching the moon Now, there's a woman on my block She just sit there as the night grows still She say who, gonna take away his license to kill? Now, they take him, and they teach him, and they groom him for life And they set him, on a path where he's bound to get ill Then they bury him with stars Sell his body like they do used cars Now, there's a woman on my block She just sit there facin' the hill She say who gonna take away his license to kill? Now he's hell-bent for destruction, he's afraid and confused And his brain has been mismanaged with great skill And all he believes are his eyes And his eyes, they just tell him lies But there's a woman on my block Sitting there in a cold chill She say who gonna take away his license to kill? Even noisemaker, spirit maker Heartbreaker, backbreaker Leave no stone unturned May be an actor in a plot That might be all that you got 'Til your error you clearly learn Now he worships at an altar, of a stagnant pool And when he sees his reflection, he's fulfilled Oh, man is opposed to fair play He wants it all and he wants it his way Now, there's a woman on my block She just sit there as the night grows still She say who wanna take away his license to kill?
