I’m glad to see the majority of the viewers got this right. I thought he went within 20’ of you which is definitely too close. That bottom fishing or trolling takes up way too much water. With trolling at least people can see the tackle floating, but with bottom fishing especially 75’ away? We’re you using mono on a loose line? Geometry says you had 300-400 yards of line out to create that angle.

Jeezes flipping Christ, have some common decency for your elders. The fact that he still posted this video should tell his family how much they really can't stand him. Clueless fuuck head. Utterly miserable bitter man just like my abusive father. For that ,I know one when I see one. Our family was the laughing stock because of my dad..Not to disparage military vets, but I'm taking a stab that this loud mouth was former military, the one guy that just brought down the entire group. Its just a guess. My neighbor out in the country is the same way. There's a pattern of behavior I've seen over my entire life. Or a correctional guard that loves to abuse inmates..Maybe a cop or fired ex cop. Or just a plain idiot that has a job that just puts him over the threshold financially. Got willed some money. Dry drunks are the worst. Wait a second, I must be talking about my own father. Except the grand career, but definately not poor, but acted like it, as he spent all my mom's money being abused to death. Literally to death. RN, director of nurses for the Felician Nuns. Talk about my PTSD, this man in the video I could smell out a mile away. All I would have said, hi, sir, let's bring our boats together and get the lines unhooked..That old man was there long before you, you insufferable prick..Not to say some, many people today can be very stupid themselves, but this wasn't one of those times. Had I been witness to this, I would have squashed it in a micro second as fumes erupted from my head. He'd need some cooling off time in the water. Guarantee you the other two were utterly embarrassed but afraid to say something.

These kind of people are annoying af. I was doing an (official) bathy survey and accidentally got someone's line despite being 100+ feet from shore, that far specifically to try to be respectful and keep clear - meaning I'd have to go back later when they were gone and finish up. Anyway, I went over to apologize and help untangle him and man this guy was upset, trying to tell me to get off the lake and go elsewhere. I replied, I am working and this is a public waterway which we can all share it equally, but that I'm sorry for the trouble and will get this untangled for them. This guy got even more mad... started on a rant about millennials and fishing etiquette (ok I admit I am not well versed on fishing etiquette), then started yanking his line so hard it shot off the boat and into the reeds and got suck. He then ordered me to swim out there and get it, to which I declined, though I was going to offer to buy the lure, but he kept getting angrier and then in my face... he seemed to want to have a physical fight over it. Imagine that. A fat ass aged 60 plus dude who can hardly get out of his chair wanting to throw down over a stupid lure. I just left at that point. That experience combined with this video taught me something about "fishing etiquette" - if people get mad, just leave. Screw it! Some people take themselves too seriously.
