why did you do the run in dynamic mode instead of race mode. dynamic mode has not full motor power

@@Kath0di0n I compared some attempts with Dynamic and Race mode, and the results have been the same. The Dynamic mode mainly reduces the torque and throttel response a little, but at full acceleration it doesn't really matter. But for roll on it matters.

I test rode the 2013 model with 193 hp, it was that same green color. An absolutely amazing bike! 300 kph is very fast!

Yep, 200hp are a lot. Also 150hp are enough for public roads.

I just want to say that I really like the way this guy has this video. There is no stupid music. There is no stupid intro. This whole video is just business which is where any real MOTORCYCLE rider really wants to see. I am very grateful for this person. My only complaint is that he does not put miles per hour or so more Americans can understand.

But as a recreational track rider i mainly bought the racebox mini to use the gpx data for video overlay of lap times, lean angle, g force. I tried using my cycling computer last time but is only a 1 Hz data logger that maxes out at 200 kph.

Nope not yet Ducati Panigale 1199 Did 9.7 @149 mph 2014 Ducati 1199 Superleggera has done 1 mile in 25.4 seconds @310 km/h But I'm not too sure about 1/2 mile this BMW M1000RR was faster than both M1000RR did 1 mile in 24.7 seconds at whatever speed It's 100% correct Only if it did 1/4 mile in 9.9 sec and 1/2 mile in 15.2 sec

M1000RR looks like a beast. Just been to the motorcycle expo in Bern, Switzerland, where they had the M1000RR competition, an even more insane bike than this one. Way too expensive but a damn beauty! I am going to ride the M1000R for a weekend in May, can't wait to take it to Germany and rip it 😎

Die launch control ist wahnsinnig gut. Beiden meisten bikes ist sie echt Käse... aber hier wow!! Ist deine bmw Serie? Ecu flash + luftfilter und ggf ne komplettanlage... da geht noch ordentlich was. Brentuning soll da Eike super Arbeit leisten... überwiegend da die ecu meiner ktm 1290 sdr zu Flashen..

Ich versuche die Tests bei möglichst wenig Verkehr zu machen, und das geht am Sonntag ganz in der Früh am besten. Bzw. wäre natürlich eine abgesperrte Rennstrecke/Teststrecke/Flugplatz etc. am Besten. Vielleicht bekomme ich da mal ne Möglichkeit :)

@@mototop_ yes basically for a bike out of the factory 100-200 in 3.6 seconds is just literally insane Faster than most hypercars or Supercars Faster than Ferrari SF90 McLaren 765LT or Tesla Plaid even Quicker that Chiron But Chiron is faster above 200 km/h But which car beside a Chiron can beat M1000RR? Literally nothing Koenigseggs are so slow off the line 0-100 km/h 3.5 seconds they are slower than this motorbike at 1/4 mile

@@jozefjozefczyk3936 it doesn’t really have a speed limit. It has a pretty short gearing stock. With racetrack gearing it can do about 314. And besides this the engine has some restrictions due to emission regulations in Europe. With an ECU flash it would have more power.

Hi, you just have to activate GPS at your Gopro (at least Hero5 black) and afterwards via the Gopro Quick App you an add GPS to the video. I just use the frames of the video to calculate the data. And I verify it with Racebox Mini.

I am wondering how there are some videos of same 1000rr allegedly doing more than 330 kmh gps speed. Meanwhile the bike in the video is struggling above 180mph (290kmh) I don't think it is gearing only.

That's because the bikes doing more than 330kmh (as per GPS?) are not stock. This bike in my video is 100% stock as per European regulations (emissions etc.) and in stock street mode it has a shorter gear ratio (one more tooth on the rear sprocket), that's why it "only" goes officially 306kmh. the 2023 model of M1000RR does officially 314kmh.

Difference here - is that the standing mile is the same - but the the bike is highly limited on take-off traction / anti-wheelie, so it gains a massive amount of speed after initial take-off. From a rolling start the bike is faster.

In the beginning it says rider weight 60 kg? Also is this the fastest thing you have ever tried in terms of acceleration?

Not quite a bit It could've gone a lot faster This thing can do 0-300 km/h in 15 seconds ECU unlocked McLaren 765LT quickest production supercar does 0-300 km/h in 18.6 seconds tested by AutoTopNL McLaren 765LT Ferrari SF90 Tesla Plaid and BMW M1000RR are same calibar of vehicles M1000RR Accelerates much faster than them Chiron is faster though it has 1500 HP and it's a HyperCar 0-300 km/h in 13.6 seconds What surprised me the most M1000RR is actually Quicker than Chiron from 100-200 km/h Chiron does 100-200 km/h in 3.8 seconds BMW M1000RR 100-200 km/h 3.6 seconds Bugatti Divo 100-200 km/h 3.7 seconds But those cars are much faster after 200 km/h Chiron Supersport 100-200 km/h 3.45 seconds a whopping 1600 HP Koenigsegg One:1 100-200 km/h 3.3 seconds much lighter than all of them still has 1360 HP weights 1360 Kg Kawasaki H2R 100-200 km/h 2.9 seconds or 3.1 seconds Depending on wheelie and skill of the rider Rimac Nevera 100-200 km/h 2.9 or 3.0 seconds depends on surface Prepped surface normal surface etc

You should arrange and test Kaswasaki H2R Nobody has done GPS Acceleration on H2R yet Really disappointed H2R came out long ago It did 0-100 kmph in 2.9 seconds on racebox in one video and 1/4 mile in 9.4 seconds But from then there's no 0-200 or 0-300 tests done

I would like to :D But H2R is not street legal in Europe, and it's very hard to get such a bike for testing.

Im pretty sure if you put 3 more gears on that gearbox it'd go all the way to near 400 numbers at the same acceleration rate, which is absolutely nuts

Great acceleration. Next time try in race pro mode. The acceleration is much better and you can feel it instantly.

Thanks. I also triede it in Race mode, but the times were the same. The Dynamic mode just restricts the torque a little and the throttle response, and that dosen't really have an influence on fast acceleration at high rpms.

@@mototop_ Yep, It seems that many people incorrectly thinks that unrestricting the power in the first two gears will help. It does NOT. I wished tuners also did not spread this false information. OK.. on a Harley with 70HP that may be correct, but on any powerful race/super-naked bike with 200+ HP the problem is not power, it is traction and not "looping" the bike. I have the M1000R 2023 and in race mode it allows a bit more wheelies, it looks cool, but it goes not faster...at drag-race :)

@@mototop_ Hehe... no strip where I live, and "Mexico" is far away.. I have done some tests, but only in Road mode where the TC/Wheelie control is a bit aggressive. EDIT: The instruction manual also states that torque is reduced in the first gears in Road mode. And that I can confirm. 100-200 time was not very impressive (4.7sec). I am a bit on the heavy side so my times will not match your very good result anyhow. (I'm about 40kg heavier than you 🤪) I will try some acceleration tests with launch control activated as this seems far better than my right wrist is able to control at the moment (I'm bit rusty)..

can you prove it? on publich roads with street tires 1.6G is not possible due to friction coefficient. Only for a tenth of a second.

​@@mototop_ I have telemetry data on my BMW phone app. It monitors my bike when riding. Its the only proof I have. Unless the app is broken, that is what it has recorded. Also have recorded 1.3 G braking. Maybe it is my weight? 170 lbs. Perhaps the wheelie and abs rider aids make it possible.

Right, on a drag strip you have more grip. In this video it was pretty cold with less grip. The 0-100 could have been a little bit faster

made no difference in my attempts. Dynamic only cuts a little torque and throttle response, but not high end power.

You definitely weren’t doing 180+kmh when you passed that van when slowing looked more like 120kmh

why you think so? so the van should have done about 80kmh if you think I only did 120.

I checked the videos, and the topspeed of the naked R model is 229 compared to 234 of the RS.

Nein, das ist die LaunchControl. Die Kupplung wird durch die Launches stark heiß und muss abkühlen. Deshalb kann man es nur 3 mal hintereinander machen

@@pvt.paula4423 Achso, ich habe schon Angst bekommen. BMW hat bei den neuen Autos auch schon ein Abbo Modell für z.B. Sitzheizung oder solche Extras eingeführt (oder möchte es zu mindest tun, habe ich gehört).

@@Jay-vr5jk die Ducati Panigale V4 hat auch eine Beschränkung auf 3 Starts. Ist also eher üblich würd ich sagen.

Die werte sind ok, die ZX10RR dürfte da wohl nochmal ein drauf legen :-)

Bro it did 1 mile in 24.8 seconds correct the times If 1/2 mile is 15.2 seconds Acceleration and 1/2 mile was faster than McLaren 765LT 765LT did 1/2 mile in 15.5 seconds and 15.3 seconds on autobahn ECU Unlocked bit longer last gearing 0-300 km/h easily in 17 seconds Seems like it hit wall at 290 km/h It took 8 seconds to go from 290 to 300 km/h Which is slow Definitely need longer last gearing

How is it that my 20year-old 900 Ninja also does the 1/4 mile in 9.99 seconds? Also the 0-100 is practically the same. I guess the tire is the limiting factor.

0-100 you cannot do much faster on public roads and with road tires and normal pressure. Your 9,99s are done on a racetrack surface? and your 900 Ninja is stock? Or what mods?
