Dude, thanks very much for this video. I used it as a guide for replacing my passenger rear regulator and it worked like a champ. Cheers!
Great video, made this about a 20 minute job. Your attention to details and clear instructions were extremely helpful.
This was actually the best DIY video I've seen about this, can't thank you enough, I was actually considering removing the window glass but this made much more sense
Thank you so much for this video. I'm new to DIY maintenance of this level and this is exactly what I needed to repair my regulator.
Very clear and easy follow DIY, great work mate! ☺️
Thanks! It was actually much much much easier then expected. Thanks. Cost me 34 euros to fix instead of 500 the dealer wanted.
Thank you for DIY it was easy to follow. All around perfect from start to finish .
Thank you so much Caboose, I just saw the video and is great. That is what I'm going to do right now, well I need to buy the motor but I am pretty ready to do the job since all of the other parts are taken apart cause I had to replace also the actuator which I hated every time that I had to go drive. The noise it made was running me crazy but now is gone. take care amigo, it's been a pleasure looking at your video. Till next time!!! Good luck !!!!

Great video. Your part about programming the window was a mystery to me. Thanks.
Thanks main! 😊
Clear. My man. Bless
I used a dorman motor regulator assembly but i could not get the reset.thing to work, i wonder if its a dorman issue or im not doing it right. It will work for a bit then all of Sudden doesnt like it loses its memory thing? I might try a new regulator and reuse same old motor
Thanks bro seriously 👍🏼
thanks bro💪
Thanks man
Thanks
Perfect thank you bro 🌸🌺🌸🌺🌸
Merci beaucoup à vous !
thx for the vid. how many miles on your e90?
My son-in-law took a part out of the back door panel so we couldn't put the window up or down. After a week or so the window malfunction symbol came up and starting to beep every few minutes. Is there anyway I can stop the beeping sound until I can get it fixed? Thank You
Thanks!!!!
Mine seems to roll half way down when I do one click up in the programming phase, any ideas?
My windows goes down but does not seem to go all the way up
Wasup bro didn’t see the link for the regulator
Can you help me with mines are you in California
At the end do you have the window go all the way up with a single click then hold down the double click?

Yes 👍🏼 hope the video was helpful!
Hey so not sure why but I replaced the regulator and motor with a brand new assembly and it seems like its not getting power, tried the main switch and the one on the door, so I'm not sure what the issue could be.

Did you have to get the regulator initialized?
So I must be doing something wrong reference to this lil green clip. So after the replacement, the window will only go down using the key fob occasionally, but I can always put it up with window buttons. Any suggestions, its hot and need these windows to work. Thanks in advance.

My best guess is that the green clip is not properly seated in the small hole through the window glass. The green clip locks into the hole and that allows it to pull the window down
Great vid! Let’s collaborate!
What is that foam block? Did this today, but the new part (which appears to be better designed in every way) would not allow the foam block to be installed. Said fuck it and threw it away.
Can someone help? My window doesn’t go down when I press the button so does this mean that the motor is broken too?

If you tell it to go down and you can hear the motor working but the window doesn't move, you just need to get that little green tab hooked into the window so it can pull it down
Open or close it with your keys and everything will be fine
Hi. Just bought a used car and just noticed the top of the panel wasn't attached. The row of clips at the top of the panel, they just won't snap back in

David Burgess hey David! So if you are talking about the door panel it is pretty easy to get back into place. Look at 11:04 in the video and you can see the metal clips (on the door) and the plastic female clips (on the panel). Make sure they are lined up before you push them in. They take a little bit of force and sometimes a couple tries but do the top first. Hopefully this helps!

That simple programming doesn’t work. I gotta pay 200 at the dealership
