BMW 2010 E90 328i Blower/Heater Motor and Regulator/Resistor Replacement - Not Blowing Air!
My blower motor, after several years being squeaky stopped working all together. In this video I replace both the blower motor and resistor. I would recommend checking your fuses before replacing the motor (but I don’t show that step in this video).

I don't recall there being one that was serviceable.
What part did you go with? I know there’s a lot of manufacturers out there that make them.

Is the T-20 screwdriver the only tool I need for this project?

I don't remember, but I looked at my old footage and didn't see anything else. A good flashlight or work light is a must in addition to the screwdriver, it is hard to see under the dash.
I have one question. If the fuse is okay and a new motor and resistor are in place, what could be the problem then?

I haven't seen that before! Check that the plug to the blower unit is seated correctly, if so, I would then get a volt meter and check to see if voltage is getting to the plug. That will tell you if it is the blower motor/resistor or if the problem is deeper in the car.

@@reileymckerracher9181 thank you! I will check. A second question. For this is a single fuse? In my case is number 88 and it is like 40A. I saw that there are two fuse for AC like 06 and 77. Should i check also those two fuse?

@@bogdanpopescu9725 Sorry, not sure how it is fused. I would expect one for the blower/resistor, but the controls would be separate. Just another though, have you had any battery warnings? With a low battery car will shut off non essential items.

I expected it was the resistor, but since the motor was squeaking, I replaced the whole assembly and never confirmed.
Where did you find the blower motor all in one piece?
