In this video we are going to focus on BLUE MAGIC MEMBERS WHO HAVE passed away and pay tribute to their contributions. Blue Magic is an American R&B and soul group, and one of the more popular Philadelphia soul groups of the 1970s. Founded in 1972, the group's original members included lead singer Ted Mills with Vernon Sawyer, Wendell Sawyer, Keith Beaton, and Richard Pratt. Their most notable songs included smooth soul ballads such as "Sideshow", "Spell", "What’s Come Over Me", "Three Ring Circus", and "Stop to Start”.

I love all their songs. Blue magic was wonderful. I like Side Show. I like What's come over me. I love all of Ted Mills albums. He made his religious albums..

I loved them ALL but one of my favorites was Summer Snow…what an Amazing GEM!! Very underrated… my granddaughters even fell in love w/this beautiful song!🤩🙌🏽🫶🏽💕👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽❤️🔥❤️🔥

In 1967-thru to 69 I went to Ben Franklin high with Blue Magic and the Stylistics and most of us went to Central HIGH for rehearsal because we were chosen to be in the Philadelphia all city boys choir and we used to display our ability to sing songs at lunch time however the other groups went on to record and perform on stage

The original Blue Magic was one of my favorite groups my favorite song LOOKING FOR A FRIEND.
1969 Blue Magic came out recording (Can I Say I Love You ) this was 1969 recording. KZread it. I'm not confused with 1972, Blue Magic, (1969 Blue Magic Can I say Love You ) I'm staying with 1969 original group. My deepest condolences to members and families. Rest in Soul Heaven.

The musical orchestration in the instrumental portion of "We're on the right track" has yet to be matched. Anywhere. And that keyboard solo I have promised myself to learn. Period.

Stringing me along and ALL the song’s on the The Magic of the Blue album. It had all the original MFSB orchestra members playing on there. The true Sigma sound Philly soul. Norman Harris was behind all the songs on here. It’s their best Album. Trust me, have a listen to it.
