Blue Angels Join With Thunderbirds Over NYC and Northeast US

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

The two American military jet teams, the USAF Thunderbirds and U.S. Navy Blue Angels, flew together over New York, Philadelphia, and parts of New Jersey on 28 April 2020. The joint effort was a flyover salute to COVID-19 healthcare workers. The jet teams fly regularly to maintain the razor-sharp skills they need; what better way to use their flying time than by bringing a bit of their stylish art to the public at a time when the public can't go to an air show? Have you subscribed to the Airailimages Channel on KZread? We appreciate it. Here's a link to another great jet team video from the Airailimages Channel: • Blue Angels Spectacula...

Same here, F-4 and many other fighters in the USAF. Here I thought my goose bumps only worked during the National Anthem but this woke them up! Beautiful tribute to both the men and women who serve in the military, and those who serve on the front lines against Covid-19. Let's not forget the families of both who sacrifice so much so that others may live. Had the opportunity to see the Thunderbirds perform at JBLM 4 years ago, from a unique vantage point. Our farm is a couple of miles from the end of the runway. Nothing like some of their high-speed low passes and formations flying right over the pastures as they circled around. Was able to get some great video (albeit short clips) from the best seat in the house.

I noticed 2 distinct differences between the Air Force Thunderbirds and the Navy Blue Angels. Different air refueling methods. Thunderbirds use a nozzle that attaches directly to the top of the airplane and the Blue Angels use a boom that comes out of the aircraft. 2. The Thunderbird pilots use oxygen masks but the Blue Angel pilots do not. I have had the opportunity to see both teams preform, both are equally amazing. Thank you for posting this once in a lifetime experience. This aerial footage was truly amazing and a pleasure to watch.
