Very interesting video. Know your enemy. Thanks for sharing.
Yes -- it was good to find this. Most thorough look I've had at the Su-25.
Beautiful locomotive, not that many standard gauge ten wheelers in service
Yes -- Nevada Northern has some treasures. Thanks for watching and commenting.
The A-9 clone The enemy is entrenched in Washington DC... Not Ukraine
Looks like what Falcons love to eat!
Yeah, I like this one Frogfot and the Warthog, I'd like to schedule a check ride so I can choose better which one to buy, please? ❤😂🎉 Very interesting video, put together almost like a sales rep would, looks like? 😊
And what color would you like for your Frogfoot... yes, it is interesting to see all this footage.
Great fun seeing the war time Corsairs!
Glad you enjoyed it. It is satisfying to find these gems in the archives.
Good air show videography, Fred. I haven't been to Moses Lake sine I was with BIFC (now NIFC). That was a long time ago.
Thanks! Yes, I remember photographing a C-130 Low Altitude Parachute Extraction System (LAPES) airdrop out the back of a low-flying C-130E at the drop zone the AF kept at Moses Lake a few years after the eruption, and the clouds of ash kicked up by that airdrop were amazing.
First time i saw one of those T28's in person, I could not believe how big they are.....And they were a trainer????
Yes, a trainer riding behind, essentially, one of the same engines the B-17 used! A rugged big trainer that lent itself to some ground-attack modifications, too. Thanks for watching.
Just great stuff 😎👍.
Thanks 👍
These comments are from Debbie. Liked the different intro to this video Fred. Enjoyed the parts about STOL racing because I don't know much about that type of flying. Usually I fast forward through RC but your photography is so good watched every second. Great overview of all that went on at this year's Moses Lake Airshow😊
Hi Debbie! Thank you very much. I will be experimenting more with intros and on-the-road views as i go along. Glad you enjoyed it.

Respect my name
love the snake paint job
Love the A-10. Best ground support fighter in the AF fleet. Thanks for the video.
You are always welcome. It was good to talk with Major Johnson. She's upbeat and gives you the feeling she's always up for the next adventure. That's a good way to go through life.
I think the description of the overall state of the airplane is good, so I'll buy it! 😅😂❤ Thanks for sharing the video!

I don't think they had to do one like this on the B-17.
The Army Air Forces played off the rivalry between B-17 and B-24 aircrews deliberately, and maybe with a bit of humor. In the B-17 pilot's manual, for the section on the procedure for doing a go-around for a missed approach, the artwork shows a damaged B-24 on the runway as the cause of the B-17's need to go around. In the B-24 pilot's manual, the go-around artwork depicts an obvious B-17 disabled on the runway as the reason the B-24 must go around.
Where were the RN and their fabulous aircraft carriers off Indochina?
I got to see it running that day ,we were sitting in front of Belmont Hills shopping center in Smyrna Ga.I was ten years old ,what a sight!!!.
I remember Belmont as a kid! Thanks for watching.
@@airailimages great memory,thanks.
I always wondered if the pilots made machine gun sounds as they were rolling in on the fields…
Like Air Tractor 502B
These guys were amazing. They got shot at continuously, and the H13s were fragile compared to the vietnam models.😢
What was the line extending from the boom in several shots in the video? Maybe a line on the lens of the camera?
I believe that is a snubber cable to keep the boom from getting too far out of alignment... maybe a boomer can tell us...
I always like a refueling vid and adding the Bone was a plus.
Yes -- gotta love the B-ONE.
Enjoyable video. Good material.
Thank you for watching and commenting.
But did they have a vegan menu in the chow hall?
Poor Sara, survived the war to get blown up by her own. She deserved better. It's good to see her, thank you. / My Father loved that ship.
Glad you enjoyed the film. Was your father aboard Saratoga?
Sucks Milwaukee road is gone forever no more trains up Tacoma hill and Morton logger
Well done with no annoying music, like you are there. I'm planning for my first air races at Roswell! Do any of the competitors allow spectators to get up close on the ramp?
We do our best to use ambient engine audio whenever possible. Sometimes, we have to delete commercial music that can be heard over a PA system. So occasionally, we insert royalty free music in our videos if ambient audio is not usable, but we strive for the real thing. At Reno, a pit pass would get you close to where the racers are worked on. For start-up, they were moved out on a ramp with no public access, but within view.
No FAST Packs?
The new engines. Better range, MMPFH.
Starkill Threat: OBLITERATED
That’s intriguing to me to see the different tow configurations. I started out in sailplanes and to see that cargo glider yanked into the air by a C-47 without any takeoff roll is amazing to me! Thanks for sharing this historical footage!!!
Yes, that looks very abrupt!
The pic showing the short tow of the glider was very nice. Did they takeoff that way or reeled in after takeoff?
That must have been some jerk for the troops in the gliders.
Yes -- that looks abrupt.
Brrrrrrt 🇺🇸
The glider footage is greatly appreciated. They were a part of it too.
Thanks for watching and commenting.
Love it, aircraft is my life
Glad you enjoyed it!
They looked so young and full of life the music was magical during the video bring it to life
Thank you very much for watching and commenting.
Top👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it.
Theres a Thrush guy in the cockpit for sure!
Tax dollars gone down the crapper.
i had an uncle who served as a radar man on the Indomitable .
Thanks for watching, and a tip of the hat to your uncle.
I've long held that the F7F is one of the best looking airplanes of all time, right up there with the P-51. =PC=
Sleek, slim, and powerful. Thanks for watching.
I was one of the video camera ops at the Base Photolab that day shooting this event. A memorable day!
Wow! I remember when it was on the news.
Looks like a catfish mouth/eyes, painted on the lighting.
From Davis-Monthan. I retired in 1989 on the OA-10. I was an Avionics Technician.
Why is this the final show season for the A-10? Is it because the AF is chucking the A-10 for the F-35? Thanks for the video. She did good flying the backup aircraft. Thanks.
Winding down A-10s; some to be replaced by F-16s. USAF touting F-35 air-to-ground capabilities as well. Idaho ANG supposed to get F-16s around 2026-27.
Waste of tax payers dollars.
go back in your hole
Wonderful Air show even though the wind was insane! RC pilots made that f-18 pilot look a schoolgirl😂 the f-18 flew maybe three high altitude passes and one after burning pass and that was it
