Very good find! Charity shops in my area are awful for blu ray finds. Also REALLY funny about taking in 18 rated and horror movies.

Decent Star Wars DVD's James. Do the original cuts fill the screen? I thought they were like a box in the middle of the screen. Be interesting to see them though.

They are the 4:3 letterbox versions. As used for the 1993 laserdisc and subsequent 4:3 widescreen laserdisc releases. Until the 1997 special edition was released.

You should do a video on any goals you have at the moment collection wise....like film series ypu want to complete collection of or a focus on more horror. Keep up the great work! I binged all your hunting videos last year. Doing soon a big trip down to london CEX and HMV/FOPP trip similar to one of your older hunts.

Picked up a decent haul from Pontypridd CEX on Friday. Traded in some stuff into a £45 voucher and picked up BluRays of Bullet Train, Banshees of Inisherin, Black Adam, Shin Godzilla, Apollo 11 (the documentary) and a couple of others. Decent selection of stock.

I worked here for 9 months in 2016 and loved it! One of my favourites jobs I've ever done

Despite this bad experience, you guys are lucky you have a brand game store like this. Here we only have like one legit retro game store and they charge at minimum twice as much as you would find in CEX. What are you going to do but count your fortunes even with this, as things could be always worse.

And there all remasters from the laserdiscs. So they're just laserdisc transfers so no better quality unfortunately

Except if it's a good machine and disc, LD still looks pretty good on a big screen... Especially if your telly has a timebase corrector on the analogue inputs...

Exactly. These DVDs were, quite rightly, considered to be very disappointingly poor quality even when they were released. Non-anamorphic old scans, as you say. Whilst the original versions of those three films have never been officially released since these DVDs, there are far better ways of watching them available, albeit not legal ones...

Bluray has a stronger capacity than DVDs. Dvds are like 360p or 480p whereas Blurays are 1080p.
