These are such great tips Callum. I certainly think your last tip creates a foundation for all the rest. You can see by all the other videos you’ve done that “be kind” is a golden rule. Really really enjoyed this!

.. Jesus Christ saves He had mercy on me he can save all who all seek him today He made away through calvery repent of all sins today Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Come to Jesus Christ today Jesus Christ is only way to heaven Repent and follow him today seek his heart Jesus Christ can fill the emptiness he can fill the void Heaven and hell is real cone to the loving savior today Today is the day of salvation tomorrow might be to late come to the loving savior today Holy Spirit can give you peace purpose and joy and his will today John 3:16-21 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. Mark 1.15 15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Hebrews 11:6 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Jesus

Being kind and helping the staff says a lot about you as a person, RG, and it's clear in the vlogs that this is a golden rule of yours. I've mentioned before that one of the best things about your videos is that I derive actual value from them and this video definitely echoes that sentiment!

Most Tips are good. I volunteered for a charity shop for two years straight, just finished recently to go back to college. Most Tips are good. Be helpful, polite and regular these will all get you brownie points with staff. Certain staff member specialise in certain areas. You are NEVER going to be let into the back of a charity shop for insurance and Health & Safety reasons, dont push it ever it will only peeve us off. If you make a great connection with a member of staff, the best you can hope for is to be allowed to stand on the threshold and titles to be called out to you, that is a sign of a great relationship. Another is a member of staff might hold something back they know you might like. You know which member of staff that will do that for you? its the guy with some form of Autism he is the guy who will be most likely to know what is in the back. NEVER haggle with a member of staff over price, they are priced to sell. I used to hide stuff in the back for my favourite customers. One day one came in and I had a collection of Graphic novels (Sandman) in mint condition and he wanted to pay pennies on the pound for them. Never again did I hold anything back for him.

My charity shop tip is going daily and getting there close to when charity shops open their doors. I'm fortunate that I work a 4 on 4 off rota so on my 4 off I'm straight into town after the the school run and have time for a coffee before the first charity shop is even open. Iv personally never known a charity shop to not sell 18 cert media. Every charity shop I visit iv always seen a mix of age ranges. Another benefit of being a regular visitor even if you don't always buy is that the staff will get to know you and are more likely to not only let you know when stuff is coming in but also more likely to offer you discounts. Even better if you have young kids' you would be surprised just how endearing they are to some of the staff that work there. Iv walked out of charity shops with freebies purely because they recognised my kids. Lastly, do donate as well. I'm not saying drop off you're fave games and dvds but if you are having a clear out and you have dvds that you know you would just get pittance for at cex or they won't even take them then consider dropping them off at your local chazza shop. The scratch their back and they'll scratch yours approach never hurts. Even if it's just carrier bags, chazza shops do appreciate that as well

Good tips mate. It's worth enquiring with smaller more independent charity shops about what they do with electrical goods like consoles, because they have to be pat tested a lot of them wont bother selling them but if you share your details and let them know you're interested I've had them actually ring me every few weeks. Had a few DS's and 3DS games from that 👍

100% correct on that creating space and social awareness point. People underestimate the power of people looking at you and the thing that you’re doing bringing attention bro yourself. People looking at you, passing judgement with their eyes can make you self conscious and that can cause you to make a mistake or feel rushed(depending on your level of confidence). Always try to create a methodical approach to how you’re doing things, try to get in the shop at optimal opening times that have less people in them but also allows you to have first pick of the bunch.

great tips (tho no-one would be allowed in the back room of my charity shop due to health and safety and security cioncerns). One tip I would add is that if you go the same big shop regularly try to find out who the games/dvd guy is and when he works. No stalking! Old ladies want nothing to do with games dvds etc and will leave it to one person. In my shop thats me. I work every thursday. At noon on Thursady the dvd/game shelves are the fullest they'll be all week. Any such donations are piled up till I'm in on the next Thursday.

Those are good tips for buying from charity shops. I always prioritise the ones more likely to get deals over thoe ones who simply price match ebay and cex. I was chatting with the owner of my local video game store and learned that some that are expensive have prices either set by their head office or the shop manager as often different branches of the same charity shop have completely different price structures.

I find that Sally army prefers a quick turnover and will just push the product out of the door regardless of what it is. Only occasionally will they know they have something a bit special and mark it up, and even then, it's still considerably less than what you would pay for used retail. Some of my best bargains have been from Sally army. Although they dont often have a lot of games in'when they do, they're a bargain even when they're considered cheap games to begin with. I'll happily pick up the shovelware from them as I'm either paying what its worth or less, and I'll occasionally grab a 50 quid game for 50p as well

Another great tip to add for eBay bids I’ve found useful and works every time and always win 🏆 the bid that is last person before will be the sale price you will win the bid example bid at £50 last 10 seconds who Eva is bidding last will get the 2nd last bids price say at 58 but in them 10 seconds I bided £100 I won the bid at £58 pounds always win 🏆and works hope this helps out all about passing on the knowledge & helping the community god bless everyone 👏

I`ve been scouting local charity shops for the last month or so and found nothing! I ask if there are anymore in the back and it`s always no whats there is all we have. Shop after shop of Fifa`s and stuff worth nothing! And when i actually thought i hit something (Assassins Creed Valhalla for Xbox X/S for £2!) the game in it was Assassins creed for Xbox 360! I`ll keep trying but its pretty soul destroying.

Yeah definitely Daisy, and it works 2 fold as it helps them learn about giving things back to others when it's time to thin the toys out.

these are good tips but the chances of finding valuable video games in charity shops are slim to nothing. I think in the 3 and a half years (pretty much daily) i’ve been hunting in them i’ve found about 12 games that are worth more than £15. Literally all the shops now know exactly how to research their worth and price them to match.

"Can I just pop in the back love?" I'll try that tonight.😅 But you might be right, could take years to build up those privileges. Ps.. the red are coming for ya. ⚽️
