Your videos are so under rated, I’ve been watching bikes builds etc on KZread and was never recommended your channel. I finally found it and I love your content. I love how you make mistakes and admit to them and show how you fixed it. That not only helps you but it also teaches us not to make the same mistakes. Great work man, keep up the grind 👍

You’re not wrong! A couple years ago a bike like this would’ve went for $600, granted I got super lucky and it wasn’t locked up, but I bought this bike when prices were crazy high, and it was the best deal I could find

I just picked up a 2015 kx450f 1300 prices are still up lol what I found was in rough but not to bad. The main thing was the cam cap was broke. Come to find out it's alot more then that, I should have it running this weekend. I went crazy buying parts lol. Motocross is around the corner in upstate NY

Thats not too bad at all! With the bike I had, the Cam cap was machined to the head, so my only option was to replace the whole head which sucks. And I’m getting excited myself too. Trying to finish this YZ build I’m currently hoping to have it done by spring for the season

@ChaseBuiltBikes how where the rest of the parts like your wheel bearings , stem bearings, shocks. I have to replace my wheel bearings front and back. Swing arm bushings, I just got my fork rebuild kit in today. Clutch lever got replaced, new radiators and hoses. New grips, also got a new throttle tub in today, all new plastic, seat cover, shims fuel injector, got another fuel pump and head both in a good used condition. I'm still waiting on my graphics kit, and rear break foot lever. Get a video up when you get your bike done completely I'll make one an show you. I gotta go see my buddy this weekend for the Shims an valves. I thought I had my bike together but after I got what I needed for the motor all it did was pop or backfire so I'm trying to get that narrowed down

Its a four stroke not a two stroke, they don't rev to 10,000 RPM
