    These guys were pioneers meaning one of the first bands to mix rock, jazz, blues, soul etc. Timeless music for sure!

    Forgot how funky/groovy this tune is. That BASS. Yes, he did shine! One great album. I just was listening to another channel who did their cover of 'God Bless the Child' (Billy Holiday). YOU MUST check out that tune. You will love it!

    Another song that was a hit but rarely heard is Lucretia MacEvil-an absolute banger!! Also BS&T's version of God Bless the Child is a must listen.

    I purchased this album while on vacation at the New Jersey shore back 1968! I got it at one of the many junk shops on the boardwalk. The guy that sold it to me told me to listen to it carefully because BS&T would be the next big thing! He was absolutely right!

    „God bless the child“ is their cover of Billie Holliday‘s song. It will show you the depth and variety of their talent! It is terrific !

    Ummm, it's hard to believe you didn't mention one word about the vocals or the vocalist. David Clayton- Thomas absolutely killed it on most of their material. But not one word about the vocals? Just surprised.

    I heard this when I was maybe 5 or 6... I lived near St. Louis, and so, for me at the time, "the blues" meant the hockey team. Still and all, I don't quite think I was entirely wrong...

    Chod you've opened the can now and they won't go back in so you going to have to listen to more. Overshadowed by Chicago but they're horn section was better than Chicago's. David Clayton Thomas is the best frontman one of the best ever been. They have a large catalog for you to check out so put some more on here you'll never go wrong with blood sweat and tears
