Thanks for describing the locations, beautiful views, and powerful engines ... it just draws you in.
Fantastic shot at 4:16 of the 8 locos coming thru the signal tower... Fantastic view as well...Thanks for sharing
Hello from the England . Really , Really enjoyed this video , First impressions are WOW , I am Speechless , i cannot believe that the freight trains over there have anywhere from 2 units up to 8 units with about 200 or more cars in tow . and to video in spectacular scenery as well is a rail fans dream . Your container trains are fantastic double stack WOW !!!! , Over here in England they are not even half that size . I will hope fully come over to America till then . Thank You
Awesome shots!! loved it!!!
I'm reallyimpressed with the fantastic locations and excellent editing. This is one of the best train videos that I have ever seen!!
Lots of great action and fantastic videography
Many thanks for sharing this nice vid. Technically perfect but also very instructive. It shows a nice "story" and a nice country.
es impresionante. muchas gracias
This is so good, thank you much added to a playlist...
Absolutely great Vids, thanks a lot.
Awesome video!!!
Excellent. THX.
Those little GP15 get around. I see them all the time in UP trains in Oakland/Richmond.
Wow, I thought the coal and interstate trains in Australia were big, but these boys are mind blowing!
Thanks for sharing. Looks like a great location to catch lots of action! The vid was great!!
Excellent video. Now, eight years later, this might be done with drones.

Cool video!
HILL 582 - OPERATION LOCO SKYLINE - OSCAR LIMA SUNDANCE!!!!! sorry, been watching too many Vietnam movies.. nice train vid.
My god, I'm not even a trainspotter and this stuff is crazy impressive. Around the 7-8 minute mark, is that all the one train?! How does it all stay on track instead of ending up straightlining at some point? And how the hell would you marshall such a thing when it got to the yard? And that 8-header, damn. What kind of enormous, titanium-alloy coupling does there have to be between the 8th loco and the first wagon to avoid it simply exploding into fragments under full load?
WOW 8 units to pull that freight! AWESOME!!!
Great rail video. I added it to my blog. Grandpa Jerry's tran blog.
it was good and really liked it
Personally I don't think the trains themselves are mind blowing, but certainly the country they have to travel through is. especially the country through the Cajon Pass. and to get large heavy trains through it is a credit to the engineers themselves, both vehicle and construction, it's a wonder there aren't many more accidents han there are already.
15:02 I got my rental car stuck there. Brilliant. Real nice video btw.
Great video
sick footage
Love it! Miss it too. Hope you hit McDonald's during the trip.
