I've listened to it a couple of times now and Tom sure does seem to be emotional. His vocals can be pretty bad at times but his voice sure seems strained here. I mean he moved his fans with this song so I'm sure it hits themselves also.

I was frontline, I had him in front of me, he was really about to cry and me too with them. They really gave their best at this concert and this one was the last song and they just say "This one's about us" and then played it but they were all three on the verge to cry. It was the first time they were doing it live, they were singing their souls out.

Thank you for sharing this! The whole performance…wow. My eyes are stinging! Tom was forcing the words to come out, like he needed to power through the vulnerability. To the people excusing Tom's vocals - I was at one of the concerts. For the older songs, there is a massively loud back vocal support. This is a new song and there doesn't seem to be the same backtrack support. LOVED the concert I went to. Love Blink 182 and I'm sure emotions played a role in Tom's vocals. But I don't think one has to lie to themselves and think this is just a bad performance. This is actually just him without vocal / autotune support. And that's totally okay too.

Damn, you can hear the emotion in Toms voice. Hes been on fire this tour, killing it with the vocals. This is emotion, pure emotion. Its why it doesnt sound the best, hes holding it together while singing.
We can clearly hear Tom holding on his tears. So happy to see then together one more time!
This was really great I think it was solid considering you can hear Tom and Mark we’re holding back tears Shouldn’t be too harsh on them as emotion creates a song and the fans driving the song was amazing

I just left their Amsterdam show an hour ago. This performance was more powerful than I expected. What an amazing song to sum up the hurdles that life can throw in you way
Thank you for sharing this! The whole performance…wow. My eyes are stinging! Tom was forcing the words to come out, like he needed to power through the vulnerability. At the end, Tom touching Mark as they exit down the steps shows that genuine love IS actually being expressed. I just love this SO much.
Anyone notice that even tho it was only one small line... travis had the best pitch while singing..

I mean I'm not 100% but I think they used the studio recording as a backing vocal for Travis, as they have the other instrumentals as a backing track.
Hot take, this is so different from everything else they have ever written, that makes it the best song they have ever written.

I mean they wrote stuff like Adam’s Song, but it terms of just “them” yeah. This song is literally about their lives and that’s crazy to me. It’s such a powerful song. I was almost crying the whole time watching this. I’m so jealous of anyone there. I’d have been in tears for sure!

Great and emotional performance. Those that saying Tom and mark were awful what the fuck are you talking about?! This is like the first time they are playing this song live AND in front of their fans. To the people excusing Tom's vocals - I was at one of the concerts. For the older songs, there is a massively loud back vocal support. This is a new song and there doesn't seem to be the same backtrack support. LOVED the concert I went to. Love Blink 182 and I'm sure emotions played a role in Tom's vocals. But I don't think one has to lie to themselves and think this is just a bad performance. This is actually just him without vocal / autotune support. And that's totally okay too.
