This actually isn't his first time recording vocals on Blink songs. He is the one who is whispering "This can't be the end" and "You did this" on the Down song from their self titled album. He also did other vocals for other older songs too but I need to look those up again.

I cried listening to this the first time. It's the most open song they've written. I've been a fan since 1999 and as a 41 year old, I litterally had half my life flash before my eyes watching the video -all the highs, all the lows and made me super humble with where I've gotten to in life.

It's like a 3 chord song without any drums or transitions, and you consider it a masterpiece?... I don't even think the lyrics are creative. I think it is kind of incredible how so many of us fans across this universe are having this shared, collective experience with this song. It is like the band knew exactly what chords to pull on. There is something about the video that speaks to fans from day one as well as to fans who just jumped on board. For me, it was like watching a tape back of my life. I am 36. I got into blink when I was 13. My wife and I have three daughters. Our oldest turns 16 in two days. I was with her last night at a college fair at her high school. When you are raising kids, working, and doing your best to mentally be in the moment, you often don't stop to look back at the trail that led you to the present. As soon as that video started, and Tom' started to strum, I felt a wave of memories rush over me. As the background scenes changed, I got to visit my former self in a way I hadn't allowed myself to do in years. The emotions locked up my throat as the tears started to fall. In one moment, I felt the full rush of my teenage self running full speed into my adult self. Moreover, I realized how many stages of my daughter's life have passed, and how close she is to being her own person out in the world. She is taking an intro to psychology course at her high school this year. The first project in class was picking lyrics to a song and explaining their meaning to you. She chose the line from home is such a lonely place without you that says, "I wish that I could slow down time, but not enough to slow you down." When she told me that, I was beaming with pride. It meant so much that I have been able to pass on this band to her and have her make them her own. So I as sit here contemplating what was, celebrating what is, and hoping for what will be, I raise a glass to all of us across this blink 182 universe. Remember, " And I know that next time, ain't always gonna happen, I gotta say, "I love you" while we're here ."

This isn’t an easy take to make, however, I appreciate that you did. I do agree with you. I would add dogs eating dogs to the mix as well. I hold the opinion that both of these albums were the best work they’ve ever done together. It’s ironic, given how they were growing distant, for each of those respective albums. Both of those two albums showed a band that was rife with experiences and finally, maturity. You can hear elements of +44 & AvA, in both albums. In other words, they were blink-182, reaching adulthood.

You can hear it in the background, starting at 2:03 coinciding with "Do I have to die to hear you miss me?" It grows louder and harder to ignore, as if to highlight the reflecting on our remaining time moving ever closer toward death (For whom the bell tolls...it tolls for thee.). Damn.

I am a massive hip hop head and always have been since the 90’s, but man it’s so good to hear something different again from such a nostalgic band. I never listened to rock music that much but it’s so good to hear something refreshing!

..just seeing the old videos... reminds me of when I listened to all those songs..blink was the first group I searched every single detail I could on KZread 2001 and on... I was a kid pretending to be as dumb as them ... trying so hard to be funny with my friends and then learning all the songs drums bass guitar... great reaction man !! For me take off your pants and jacket.... was the album that I replayed for 8 years straight 🔥

Blink is one of those bands it's hard to choose a favorite album. I'm probably one of the few people who liked Neighborhoods and even California (though it wasn't near as good as previous stuff.) But I think I'd have to go with their self-titled album. Feeling This is a song that really resonated with me for so long. I Miss You was massive, too! For years you couldn't go anywhere without hearing that song, and rightly so. Always is another personal favorite by them that was on that album and the music video for that one is so cool.

Yesterday when the song came out I was not expecting this type of song. And it hit me hard. I couldn’t stop crying. Earlier this week one of my best friends died due to suicide. And this song broke me. But it also has a good message. Care for the ones you love and tell them that you love them cause you never know when it will be you last day on this earth.

Untitled is my favorite album, I have the smiley face tattooed on my arm from it. This song hit me so hard, and there is something captivating about it that I can't describe properly. My wife and I watched the videoyesterday and we both were brought to tears. It even made my 67 year old mother in law cry. It is the most genuine song they've written in 20+ years, if not the most genuine. It has a message that anyone with a heart can relate to. Over the past few years my youngest son almost died multiple times and my wife went through breast cancer, this song hits me hard. "And I know that next time, ain't always gonna happen. I gotta say, "I love you" while we're here". I love it. Blink-182 forever

Choosing one album is so hard. I love Enema and take off your pants and jacket but you can’t go wrong with any of them. After listening to box car racer tonight this gives me the same feeling that all of those songs do. Of course Tom and Travis were in it but I can imagine this belonging there as well. That being said I absolutely love blink and am so happy to have Tom back. They’ve been a huge part of my teens to adulthood, 25 years and counting! ❤️ great reaction!!

I have a feeling this might become my favorite album of thiers... Its one of my pet peeves that i dont wanna grow up and am scared ill think or do curtain things too late. I cannot make it up now, but if in 20 years i do. It will be too late. I think this album is going to be an emotional rollercoaster. And i think they will have a lot to say about what i mentioned above. Thanks for your reaction, great way to spend my last 10 mins before work :)

didn't feel it as hard as I thought, but I have only really been a fan for 3 years so that's probably why. I do like how relatable it is to the whole tell your friends you love them while you can type of message as well as why tragedy has to be the thing that brings us together.
