    FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO CANNOT GET THE FLUID TO TURN BLUE AT 3:15 1. Change from wireframe mode to viewport shading 2. Hide the cube and outer sphere 3. Check where you "deleted" the vertex at the top of the sphere containing the liquid for me there was a false face still generated in this area. If you cannot see through the space into the sphere then click on the face and hit 'X' then select 'delete face'

    If you use blender 2.83 you dont need to have a hole in the effector object. ie. the ball can roll around with fluid in it without leaking. For some reason 2.90 onwards wont do this-no fluid will appear in a sealed effector.

    Hey ! Saw a lot of your tutorials and it seems like you have a lot of experience with fluid simulations ! I wanna know, how would you achieve a "blocky" smoke simulation ? Something close to the "Cubic" Viewport Display. There is no mention of this anywhere and you are my last chance, do you know how this could be achieved ?

  • @BlenderMadeEasy

    @BlenderMadeEasy

    2 жыл бұрын

    Hi there, fortunately yes I do know how to achieve that look. I've created a tutorial with the basic process. After you have converted it to a mesh just add the Remesh Modifier on top of it all and set the mode to Blocks and that will give you the cubic look. kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZoWB17qKeMKbiqQ.html

    My company is looking for a new artists and I saw this video. Your computer is such a talented artist. I would love to hire it. Starting at $57 an hour. Let me know what your computer thinks.

    I don't know what I'm doing wrong, I tried following this tutorial to a T, but all my particles just fall through everything. I'm on Blender 3.5 and perhaps the behaviour changed or something. Tried to research what's happening but I can't figure it out.

    Maybe it's because your system can't handle such big things because this is the reason for me

    Bro idk how your pc specs are able to run this. I have a 3070 but it's a laptop version so idk if that changes anything. If I left cycles as is, it would've taken over an hour per frame... (10 samples every 20 seconds).

    Yeah noticed he doesn't properly show how to render at the end. Have to change the rendering samples to 50. Kind of weird he speeds through the Final Touches section like a mad man. Luckily I knew that before rendering.

    Probably too late now, but you go under the render output options and choose "FFmpeg video", then at the the top bar choose "render animation". The fact that he completely skipped over this for new people is terrible. Especially after explaining every other step in the video.
