So cool and helpful! Thanks for sharing!
I really wanted to know this info! Thank you!
that's beautiful omg!!
FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO CANNOT GET THE FLUID TO TURN BLUE AT 3:15 1. Change from wireframe mode to viewport shading 2. Hide the cube and outer sphere 3. Check where you "deleted" the vertex at the top of the sphere containing the liquid for me there was a false face still generated in this area. If you cannot see through the space into the sphere then click on the face and hit 'X' then select 'delete face'

If you use blender 2.83 you dont need to have a hole in the effector object. ie. the ball can roll around with fluid in it without leaking. For some reason 2.90 onwards wont do this-no fluid will appear in a sealed effector.

Thank you for perfect tutor! Unfortunately, I can't render in cycles(it`s too hard for my comp), so question, which type of shader fits for eevee (besides a principle bsdf with one color)?
I don't really like the look of glass casting a shadow like that. Pretty cool tutorial though. Will give this a try later :)

Hey man! Thanks for the tut, im really looking forward to go through it:) Is it possible to export this as an FBX/OBJ to use in lets say, Unity or Unreal engine? Im eager to check out the result in regards to the AR experience. Have a good day!

Is it possible to do with a different object instead of glass sphere, more complex, like the blender monkey, for example?

Does the normals being flipped effect the material at all? I ask because I noticed when making a glass I some how flipped my normals and it looked off, after asking around, I checked and flipped them back and it actually affected the look a bit. Which I did not expect to work with the material being clear

I am using 3.2.1, and I read few comments saying some problem rearding versions after 2.9. was this the cause of the problem?
Hey ! Saw a lot of your tutorials and it seems like you have a lot of experience with fluid simulations ! I wanna know, how would you achieve a "blocky" smoke simulation ? Something close to the "Cubic" Viewport Display. There is no mention of this anywhere and you are my last chance, do you know how this could be achieved ?
@BlenderMadeEasy
2 жыл бұрын
Hi there, fortunately yes I do know how to achieve that look. I've created a tutorial with the basic process. After you have converted it to a mesh just add the Remesh Modifier on top of it all and set the mode to Blocks and that will give you the cubic look. kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZoWB17qKeMKbiqQ.html

Could you just use the sphere as a fluid domain object? So instead of having a cube-shaped domain and a spherical obstacle inside it, you could just have a spherical domain.
@BlenderMadeEasy

Nope that does not work. The domain will always be the shape of a cube even if you use a sphere.

@@BlenderMadeEasy Thanks, good point! I tried it out myself now.
I have done and redo the tuto blender does not want to do as the tuto has you save to share?
Where can I download this
But why must there be a hole in the effector? And what has the resolution to do with it?!
My question is how could we create the same effect with something that look more like a real liquid?? I made this tutorial and even in your video the liquid part since its made with a small ico sphere look more like sands and the liquid look pixalated. Is cranking up the resolution would help to remove that effect?? or to make liquid look like liquid its a total different process?
@neonnuke1149

you can use mesh settings in physics tab
@bradloflin6776
Жыл бұрын
I agree. Bake simulation, then Create mesh from simulation, bake that. Then you can also add foam and spray particles, but you must bake each. There is a Blender 3.1 tut that shows this by MK Graphics.
when the liquid first falls it has some of it leaking out of the sphere
I cant seem to get the particles to show up again at the end and when I press play where the keyframes are, nothing happens. I'm in camera view with rendered view switched on and on cycles and it's literally just a clear glass ball on the textured plane. I turned the liquid back on on the particle section and nothing happens at all. Does anyone know a possible solution please or what I've done wrong for future reference?
