    I will use the node to generate the curves (extremely useful, thanks), but then apply, add a stiff cloth modifier, and then skin for thickness.

    Really useful tutorial, thanks! I was wondering if you have any suggestions on getting these procedurally generated cables to collide with other mesh geometry in the scene? Like which nodes to look at using? + 1 subscriber :)

    Make sure you are using 3.2 beta. Also make sure that node groups are enabled in the asset browser filter. Then when you have a node group, right click on the name on the node and choose "mark as asset"

    @@JohnnyMatthews Donn't know what that is but will check. The amount of cable related addons, tutorials, models related to cables for blender is astounding.
