this video got me thinking along the same lines. Geo nodes are so fun to work with and if you replaced "geometry" with audio/synthesis functions it would be there. The advantage Blender would have over VCV rack/Reaktor etc is that it wouldn't be trying to emulate real world routing and could instead use the same architecture that geo/shading/compositing nodes use. I'm drooling.

there is not a lot of video editing, well videos on this so far. when you look it up in youtube or anywhere else, the classes are small and lots are outdated. I pray someone can cover the latest stuff and even show some examples on how to fully master the video editing of blender.

Into procedural sound! Hehe I immediately recognized VCV! There's also a cool free vst fork called Cardinal VST that works inside a daw. edit: I'd also take some more modular synth videos. lol

Hey @JoeyCarlino Do you know a way or if its possible to play a sound when a particle collision occurs in blender? I think it would be insanely awesome to do a particle simulation with exact sound effects! especially if you can control the volume of each individual collision by the distance from the camera..

i was hoping blender would make it easier to load songs and tweak the attack and decay while in blender instead having to load the song every time to adjust.

I actually want that in blender. Being able to do math on the curves of a sound wave and keyframe it to things happening. That "sounds" awesome. That and being able to access audio and maybe even generate it from nodes without an addon would be really nice too. Well more than it already does anyways. A piano in geo nodes that actually plays maybe even puts on a sperate audio track on the video editor from the geo node drums? I could animate characters cheeks with fart noises.. LITERALLY. Way more convenient than the NLA. 🧀

🧀 Funnily enough shader nodes helped me grasp modular synths a lot easier since they are both node systems. And these are some very marveouls farts, now put them in a granular reverb and make some fart ambient!

Thanks, I saved poses for each mouth shape that I use, then I go through and keyframe it to match the audio
