    Very nice, thanks for putting the vid and visual aid together! I've repaired and worked on cars, motorcycles, amplifiers, etc., and had questions about how electric scooters and bikes were put together, this is very helpful. It would be nice if the manufacturers had a shop manual and a schematic available. In theory an electrically driven vehicle should be easier to repair and last longer.

    This really explains all the components well, that's for the effort that went into making the video. I watched it to help me find a power problem with my bike as when I click Low setting to Medium there is a power increase as you'd expect but then when I click to High I can hear it click in but only for a fraction of a second. I had the battery tested as I thought there was a bad cell or two when demanding more power as in High mode but the battery is fine. Any where else I should be looking please? Thank you.

    awesome video! I have a dual motor set up with 2 controllers. im wondering how I can get the throttlen to move both wheels at the same time...currently I took the signal wire of one controller & integrated it in with the other controller...one wheel spins, I release the throttle, & depending on how slowly I open the throttle in the next engagement of motors both wheels will turn, buts trying to find a sweet spot on the throttle for both to turn...opening widely itll just go to spin either wheel without the other turning...any help would greatly be appreciated

Some ideas : Arduino touch display : including watt meter (W, V, A, Wh used, Wh/km), speed and trip, remaining trip, motor temperature, main on/off, throttle control for limited speed and current, controlled front and rear light by luminosity and e brake, bms analyser with cellule voltages, bms temperature, Usb c phone charger Low voltage cut off modification (for better life cycles) Shunt resistance measurement for accurate reading of consumption (which depends if watts measured from controller) You asked for ideas, there you have it. 😃

    Good video. Very well laid out. Question, I see some throttle controllers have a USB port. I assume it gets its power from the 5v delivered to the throttle for the hall sensor. Do you know how many amps the USB connection (A guess the 5v line as well.) might be able to sink? I am interested in possibly using that source of 5 volts to power an LED Pixel strip or two. I also noticed you have what appears to be a 12 volt regulator on your demo board that you did not use. I am guessing it can handle a 60v input. Where do you find that part online? Does it have a model number?

  • @EVCustoms

    @EVCustoms

    3 жыл бұрын

    Hello my friend.. yes this module is voltage step down converter, it can convert your high voltage 36V-72V to 12V, I recommend you to use this converter for your LED pixel strip, you can find these boards in very low price and with output 12volt or 5volt.

    What is the potentiometer spec’d to? I’m doing a mower conversion and I’d like to use a potentiometer as the throttle and have a normally closed switch hooked up to the brake. That way the operator prescience bail will open the circuit when pressed to turn it on and the motor will stop when let go of.

    The high brake requires a separate 12-volt battery. The low brake is not a real brake at all. All it does is shut off electricity to the motor when you pull on the regular handlebar brake lever. That way the motor is not trying to make you go even thou you have activated the handlebar brake lever.
