Wow I had no idea Paula had Liza M on her show!! Paula never acts like she rubs elbows with such A listers. She is always down to earth. How sweet at the end too. Like two little girls who are best friends and overjoyed with one of life’s simple pleasures - chocolate cake!

Super sweet Vid! It's so fun when you just seem to find a kindred spirit friend. Not sure what the comment below meant....Liza was delightful during her interactions with Paula.

I imagine some celebrities love just being with people who treat them like they aren't celebrities.

My favorite cake. A fellow Georgian here. I’ve watched your shows and have been a fan from day 1!! Being from Atlanta myself and have lived in Stone Mountain, I’ve visited Tybee Island and of course Savannah , Ga. I loved the Seafood Shack on Tybee island. I grew up in Jax. Fl on the beach ( Ponte Vedra) and fished on the Intercoastal waterway so many times. I loved the Stone crabs and it was a treat when we got to have a huge stone claw crab boil. Man oh man I thought of you and your many boils!! Peace & Happy dishes to you my friend. Keep cooking and I’ll keep watching. Maybe one day you’ll get to see my infamous carne asada tacos w/ fresh tortillas & homemade Indian fry bread shells.

Have you ever been to Singletons in Mayport, near Ponte Vedra and Jax Beach? Best seafood you will ever eat! It's a shack but the food is marvelous!

@@HealthyandLovingLife yes I have. You can see the boats coming right in. Pick what you want and see it being cooked. Nothing fancy dining there but the meal says it all. My dad and I went there many times.

I am DYING at y’all together! 🤣😄 it’s past my bedtime and LM just makes me laugh, her gestures and actions and expressions are hilarious and Paula is as funny as always.

Another favorite. The coconut-pecan frosting we used to make with this is so good (& easy). Evaporated (or sweetened condensed, adjust sugar accordingly) milk, butter, pinch of salt if using unsalted butter, sugar, vanilla, egg yolk, pecan, coconut, whisked over low heat or double boiler until thick, but I used to leave the sides unfrosted. Now I frost with any type of chocolate frosting. That cake looks great!

Fun Fact, this cake has nothing to do with Germany. A guy with name "German" invented this cake in the US in 1957.
