This kind of sultry soft voice is both alluring and entrapped, with an overall feeling of desperation, and even though this song was not sung with that in mind, I think it suits angel really well

Like, imagine he sings this in a club full of demons and sinners who could care less, who just want to take advantage of him while he's singing in a vulnerable moment, then Charlie enters the room while scouting for potential hazbin residents and sees that there's something more to him than what everyone else is saying. Then, later on in the series, it gets reprised but in a different light once he finds some genuine affection with husk. I'm going to be honest, I don't like husker as a character, I think the name is dumb, he's overdesigned, and is very cliché, but I could be swayed if his connection to angel breaks through his walls and touches his heart enough to reprise this song to him. Husk really depends on how he bounces off the other character dynamics, I wasn't impressed with his character in the pilot.

How the hell Blake wasn't bigger earlier in his acting career I will never understand- LISTEN TO THE MAN'S VOICE GOD DAMN IT!
