Well, Amazon did wind up buying the streaming rights. Though some Broadway talent already appeared on Helluva Boss.

I think I’m starting to realize why they changed the voices. All of these actors both know how to sing and sound relatively similar to the original. The old voices felt better when talking but a majority of them couldn’t sing. And having separate actors for the singing can sound weird. These new voices provide a little of both.

I’ve lost track of how many times Keith David has voiced or played a character who is either a demon or has some connection to Hell. Here are the ones I know: • Spawn(Spawn TAS) • Dr. Facilier(The Princess and The Frog) • Mr. Simms(Tales from The Hood 2) • Moloch(Darksiders Genesis) Now he’s gonna voice Husk in Hazbin Hotel. Let know if there’s any characters I’m forgetting.

As a Varian fan, i'll still say that that song isn't really the best one to show off his range and tone for this video. He's sharing the spotlight with others and cant really go all out. That song, while he did a great performance, isnt really ALL he is and can DO and i'm tired of ppl acting like it. Personally, I'd have picked "Let me make you proud" and its reprise from tangled; "I want to live again", or "Broadway, here I come" from SMASH

To be fair, I do think that Stephanie has a very distinctive singing voice. Her speaking voice gets deeper, and I was a bit impressed when listening to her sing because she did have a slightly darker tone this time around, it was less recognizable. But when she was in bojack horseman as gina, another adult comedy, she also got a song, and she did sound pretty much just like mirabel in it. Some people thought it wasn't even her singing because of how different she sounds when she starts singing I mean, there's also the fact that she used a higher pitched voice in Encanto, so idk

At least 4 actually, if you count Disney properties and not just movies. Lucifer is Varian from the Tangled series, and Zestial was the Broadway Genie, and more currently the Wish bear (plus several Helluva Boss roles already).

There’s so many big names and like- holy crap am I excited. Not only ‘cause I’m a huge theatre kid but because all of these people have INCREDIBLE voices and I’m so damn proud of this show for getting this big

All I can hear from Jeremy Jordan is Varian and I love it. I was so happy when I read his name on the cast list.

I somehow managed to watch the show before the pilot and i think his show voice is way more fitting than the pilot. Idk he just sounds less goofy but also more lightheared while also being more menacing, if that makes sense somehow

Vox does have a song, I know this from the leaked material sadly,(sucks that all that hard work got leaked). The songs amazing it’s essentially a duet between Alastor and Vox. And the character he maintains in his voice while both speaking and singing is amazing.

jeremy jordan is also the og jack kelly in newsies so you can listen to the newsies soundtrack to get a better idea of what he sounds like talking and singing :) (he does put on a fake new york accent so to hear what he sounds like normally watch to a slime tutorial of him in little shop or waitress)

it’s really crazy how many a list voices are here, to think that when I was watching vivzie’s speedpaints in the car to school there’d be a show on prime that CHRISTIAN BORLE and ALEX BRIGHTMAN would be voices for ❤️‍🩹

Since Darren stopped appearing in starkid shows, I've been really missing him, fingers crossed he'll sing in the actual show. And I feel so dumb I didn't recognize Alex sooner, Fizzarolli's voice is almost the same as Beetlejuice's. Same thing with Erika, I can't count how much I've listened to Mean girls. And Emmett Forest is one of my favourite musical characters, and he voices VOX? Perfection.
