Blade Runner - The Ambiguity of Being

Фильм және анимация

Blade Runner (1982)
Blade Runner 2049 (2017)
Watch these movies
This video could seem a bit hopeful. Maybe. But these are the questions that are brought up with Blade Runner. Which is super interesting. Maybe a 14 year old looks at Blade Runner and imagines a cyberpunk story. But both times Blade Runner has chosen to tell a more internal, complex story rich with themes. It's something to respect. That's what makes Blade Runner good. Not the aesthetic.
But yeah thanks guys for watching. This is not an in depth analysis but honestly I don't think I will ever do that for anything. Just sounds pointless. But maybe in the future I do a full review. But for now, watch these two movies. They're good. I recommend them. And win NNN. I will too. I know some dudes who were offended by me doing this challenge. I read them like a book. The truth is that they just don't have the courage to give up pleasure. They can't even go a measly 30 days and they think they can become champion. Nothing but chumpions. RSG 2 Nation. We are not chumpions.
Thank You

Why is it that I come across these videos that talk and discuss about my favorite media i.e films at 2am where I feel strangely comforted and fascinated by movies and feel that tonight I will unlock all secrets of the world, only for me to wake up tomorrow in self pity?

Ay big man, love your videos. It's fun to switch on the old YT and watching a short analysis video and just think about its topics for an hour or two. I was thinking of commenting about how robots aren't human because they aren't made by God and all that, but then I thought "if natural laws of physics are used in its creation, then maybe God did create it" and I suddenly got a whole lot less sure of my position. But I am sure that harsh bodily treatment as a philosophy is no good. The feeling of achievement always leads to pride, doesn't it? How can you achieve something and not realistically feel better than someone else who hasn't? That's kind of how it is in nearly every religion, at least that's what I've been told and anecdotally come to understand. That's why I like Christianity. The "Christ lives in me" attitude seems to me a demonstration that the only way to avoid pride is to avoid taking credit for the achievement. Personally, I'd like to see you try your hand at an in-depth analysis. I think your audience can only take so many speedster videos before they crave something deeper. Kind of like how the first few episodes of a TV show are mostly expositive and not that deep, and only later in the series do the writers really connect the dots to make a coherent plot, it'd be cool to see your videos build toward a conclusion or take on a natural analytical structure. That's kind of how creative media is usually used anyway, as a means for someone to figure out how to process the world. Sorry for the word vomit, your eyes are probably sore from reading this. Keep up the good work, can't wait to see the next phase in this channel's arc.

i dont think that scene with the “real memory” is exactly about whether or not he’s human, but whether or not he’s born? i guess they say in the movie that “to be born is to be human” but its still a bit confusing to say it that way anyways, good vid

A lot of the movie is left to interpretation and thats something I really like about it. I think by that point it was established that the offspring was from Deckard and Rachel. So him having the memory and it being real would've made him half human. But yeah point is, being born is being real according to K. Thanks for the comment

Blade Runner 2049? gotta strike while the irons hot, eh? lol seriously though, most people wouldnt appreciate your craftsmanship. You slaved over a 3 minute script for 6 years to make sure it was just. right. Seriously though, it was good and you are consistently top quality (a lot of YT'ers have the occasional gem, but, not to be a kiss ass, I KNOW your vids are going to be entertaining af). I dont think Joy ever developed real feelings. Which is why when Gosling is looking at the giant ad of Joy it sunk in how, the love from Joy, that he felt was real _(as shown by how devastated he was when she was stomped to death)_ was just a simulacra of loving devotion. This saddened him because a) her love was just a perfect fake and b) it reminded him that he too was nothing more than a perfect fake. I'd be so embarrassed if my pocket Waifu slipped out of my pocket during a fight. It'd be less embarrassing to have a pocket pussy fall out tbh Can I get a "what are you DO-ing?!" in the next vid? I love that catchphrase

Depends on the dude. Right now I can only think of jack Horner which I thought was entertaining but did leave something to be desired. It really does depend on the story but I generally prefer villians you can psychoanalyze.
