Just to let you know, 4Minute's break up probably isn't because of the egos you think. Their company CUBE has been experiencing a power struggle between its past and present CEOs, I believe, with major shifts in staff. There's speculation that 4Minute's contract renewals got caught up in the power plays/sabotage between the two. Granted, it doesn't explain why some of the other members unfollowed Hyuna on social media, so there's probably even more going on behind the scenes. But yeah, just wanted to let you know that there was more going on than just what the girls wanted. :/

I kinda fell off of K-Pop for a bit after 4minute's Hate video started to lose popularity. I only happen to notice these girls because of Taeyang said something about them on Instagram. I only found out about 4minute and 2ne1's break up when you mentioned it in Boombayah reaction. I am genuinely upset that those two groups broke up, especially 4minute. But anyways, these girls gave a good debut. Kinda got me back into the K-Pop scene. I am really hope BlackPink is the next big girl group and I really hope they have and edge like 4Minute and 2ne1.

2ne1 isn't disbanded, minzy left and the possibility of a comeback is getting less and less even though YG said they will have one but they haven't officially disbanded

I had the same opinion as u, in fact, if it weren't for rose and jenny's vocals on the country/rock parts I wouldn't have liked this song so much ... But yeah you were dead on IMO ... 2ne1 and 4 minute were pretty much the only girl groups I followed and the left a big void, but blackpink shows a lot of promise and in time they can hopefully fill some of that. I think these girls gonna be big not only in Korea but worldwide (they were #1 on iTunes the next day they debuted)

of course black pink shows a lot more promises because they just begin.. YG won't screw us in their beginning right? let's hope YG won't make us down again like he did with 2NE1.. at least a few years later after black pink's debut cause we still need this girlgroup vibe.. 😅

I feel you nova, but with bom scandal and minzy getting fed up it was kinda unavoidable ... I do hate their history of "forgetting about groups" but there's not much we can do there except Stan BP so they get the attention required for YG to keep them in the spotlight

On the last part it's Jennie's vocals+jisoo and rose ... I didn't mention jisoo because she had almost a backup chorus like part in this song ... I'm not being mean here, but she didn't stand out as much in whistle, I'm sure they have songs with bigger/more impactful parts
