Sorry about not upload as frequent as I'd like but I've left work and now full time producing, another track in the making as we speak :)
Artist: Blackmill
Vocals: Veela
Title: Let It Be
Genre: Melodic Dubstep
Software: FL Studio 10
Lyrics:
Lyrics:
All she's got is the way he looks
Many miles on the other side
He had overheard her choice
And he delved off her cliffside
Sacrifice he just wants to help
Holds the world like a baby
Takes his mask off and lulls his head
Then she sees him in the screen
She wants to free you/She wants to heal you
They both see the traps
No fool, Oh oh
They won't go back
They've got a mind track
It's all a mystery
Let it come and let it be
There are things he cannot say
In the night tells her anyway
They're the leaders who want the change
Blacklit breaks by the half pane
Heavy oceans are in his way
Makes her feel like a pathway
Rest your head now and don't pretend
And let this wild tale now begin

This hits anytime. 2024 or whenever. Relax and enjoy.
I remember listening to this as a kid, maybe 7 years old. I’d ask my older brother to play it over and over again to fall asleep. he was kind and would smile and play it. I’ve turned 18 now, and life is very different. but this song reminds me of memories so close to my heart I barely have words to explain them. It makes me feel like a kid again, lying in my mommas bed looking out the window, thinking. I’ll always love this song and the place it held in my early life. Cheers, to our younger selves.

I discovered blackmill many years ago during a very sad time in life, here i am years later, older, wiser. Dealing with hard times and I come across this song. Makes me look back on life and realize although everything seems like a mess, life can be really beautiful if you let it. Don't dwell on negative stuff, get out and live people! Fall in love, fall out of love, have a great day, have a bad day, just love yourself and remember every second of this is a gift. Make it count

8 years ago I heard this. I had just bought my house in the middle of Hicksville USA in South Carolina. I'm from California and never thought I'd hear this kind of music again. I'm in my acre large vegetable garden and BOOM. The high school half a mile away plays Blackmill every day at the end of the day for all of the students to chill out to. What a vibe.

Used to listen to this constantly in high school - now I'm here again, working on my master's degree. My father died only two months ago, but this reminds me of when I'd be buried in books and look over to my left, seeing him sitting in his chair. It's bittersweet and peaceful at the same time. Time keeps flowing, and that's okay. I'm happy I'm back here.

I struggled with addiction and severe depression for a long time. I would close my eyes while I listened to blackmill and imagine myself flying through the sky and mountains. It would make me feel so far away from my problems and just let me be “free” if that makes any sense. I got help with my depression and that helped me quit opiates. I’ve been sober for almost 4 years now. Thank you blackmill for helping everyone with your music in some way shape or form.

chillstep never really got the recognition it deserved . . . . . Edit, 2021: I made this comment in 2019, when the video only had like 100k views, which is ~8 years after its release in 2011. It has only received 99% of these views in the last ~2 years. These songs (and this genre) came shortly after the dubstep craze of 2011/2012 and was quickly forgotten with almost no recognition. Only recently has it actually has come into its own.

This song hits a special place in my heart. I first heard it when my best friend put it on. I didn’t get it at first, he rode his bike everywhere and had great taste in music. Such a passionate dude full of life. He was hit and killed while riding his bike and driver fled the scene in August of 2012. Anniversary coming up. Tragic way to lose someone like him. I heard it again at a place I was eating just after his passing and the full treatment of this song hit me. It helped me greave his passing for the whole next year and it became one of my favorite songs of all time. RIP Mike Vega.
We miss you Amy - enjoy resting in peace - thank you for sharing Blackmill and music with me 🫀

Currently I am in a phase of rediscovering music from my teen years. Especially in the age of 12-16, when I started jobbing to buy my first hifi system, when I spend countless nights combing through youtube, downloading single songs manually and organizing them in my folders, when I cycled to friends, super exited to show them the new track I found. 2013: The end of summer after graduating from high school, not knowing what the future holds. Knowing that there is no going back to public school, no more drama, no fights, no more walking the campus and trying to be the popular kid, no detentions, no caring who is dating who. Closing the last page to a graphic novel of a comic book. 2020: Quarter of the way through this huge Stephen King size novel of a book. Still working on getting my life together. Its been 9 years now that I've been listening to blackmill, and now at 26, these timeless tracks still hold the same emotional impact as they did when I first found them

This song is a total trip of mind blowing ecstacy that consumes the soul and takes you to the darkest corner of your perception of paradise, the way you had experienced the most peaceful moments of your entire life, using the imagination to fantasize about what is not real but has truely been real all along, reminding you of who you are and what this life is all about. Just saying.

This song saved me during the darkest period of my life 🥀
This is one of my favorite songs.
I remember years ago, my mom was infatuated with Blackmill- that's how I heard of him. We'd roll around on beautiful summer days with the sunroof and windows down blasting this kind of stuff and I don't think I'd trade those memories or feelings for anything. Thanks, Blackmill (:

A woman's voice makes everything sound so much better. Woman's voices are so harmonious, peaceful, soothing and have high-pitched tones that match the bass drops and beats to deep melodic dubstep. This is so relaxing. Don't think I will ever find music this good for some time. Love it! :)

Blackmill, Killigrew, chillstep in general, so amazing. I discovered this music maybe 6 years ago or so and ever since I have created so many playlists expanding off of this alone and it is life changing.
This song still hits different after all these years.
This song makes my soul sing🙌❤️
Bruh miss those days a good song like this would play and now it’s music gone in the past these words would last forever ♾
I miss staring off into space under my headphones, wholly convinced that the adults would never understand. I'm a sadboi, leave me to my sketchy sleep schedule and my weed. Now I'm 28 all of a sudden. I've got a 14yo step son and I'm married. Came out of nowhere. I remember where I came from, though. I still find my peace in this track.
This song always reminded me of reckful....RIP BYRON BERNSTEIN
This song has so many memories tied to it with me
This brings me back to a simpler time. I still remember hearing this when it came out.
I love the memories this song comes with, times when life showed me that music was my remedy. No corona virus, no anxiety, no problems. I miss it.
