Experiencing 'Spirit of Life' by Blackmill feels like stumbling upon a hidden treasure after years of solitude. The music washes over you like a gentle wave, awakening emotions long dormant within. Each note is a revelation, reminding you of the beauty and fragility of life. As someone navigating the complexities of existence, this song serves as a beacon of hope, showing that even in the depths of loneliness, there's still magic to be found in the world.
Almost 2023 and still fire
that flute kills me every time. fucking shooting star dust through the galaxy with this song. Its like youre recreating the universe listening to this song. Absolute dopest beauty.
I miss the days back when this stuff came out. I'd listen to it, and I loved it. But it made me sad because I was nostalgic for the good times I had many years before 2012, and these songs kinda made me remember that life changed alot. It's hard to believe it's been almost 4 years since.. now I really miss the days when I first discovered this music. Wish I'd appreciated those years more, because they're gone, and I wish I could go back to the days when I'd listen to this music for hours on end in my room, even if those weren't the best of times for me. Thanks for being amazing, Blackmill.

Blackmill truly aged well. But with a sound like this, how could it not? Breathtaking, and timeless. Above all, otherworldly.
Why does Blackmill music makes you feel all these emotions in just one setting, like it makes you feel you just went through all your memories in one go no matter if they were good or bad. Am I the only one who feels like that?

Here I am... Age 22 now. Still here listening to Blackmill. Iv discovered Blackmill when I was in 7th Grade, during when I was 12. Running PC games instead of Consoles. Playing Maple Story, Combat Arms, Gunz, Path of Exile, League of Legends, Crossfire and many more child memorable games. Then again during my school period only a few people who I met listened to Blackmill. Most of the time I felt like an outcast from the rest of the people who said they can't relate to these type of music or noise. Keep listening to what you like, even if it makes you an outcast from everyone else. I listened to Mitis, Feint, Blackmill, Andrea B, Sappherios and many more.

Between my buddy committing suicide, my grandpa passing, and a good Xbox buddy passing yesterday morning in a car wreck, your music gives me a sense of bliss that I can always find comfort in. This will always be my “peace” song. Some of us need your music more than you know. Thank you blackmill for all the beautiful music. Been listing since I found you on an optic montage video when I was 15, I’m 26 now. Please don’t ever stop. Sincerely, my aching heart. 🤘😢

2023 for me. It's amazing how after more then a decade of listening this song still somehow soothes someone as broken as myself...........
Music that truly transcends time, genre and culture
You wouldn't think a guy in a Straw hat & work boots riding around on a Zero Turn Stander all day with a pair of hand pruners in the back pocket of a pair of Carhart work pants would listen to this stuff all day long. It's amazing to me how this music touches all kinds. It's ultimately the only thing that makes each day worth pushing through for a Mow-Jockey. I'll be honest, Blackmill & Immensus is what started my continuous search for the best melodic dubstep, trap, Trip Hop, Down Tempo and whatever else I can find. It's literally become a part of my daily life. It makes my job go so much quicker & more peaceful. Thank you, I never leave this channel unfulfilled!
Still, we listen to this in 2022. It’s beautiful.
thank you for opening my eyes to a new genre of peace.

Blackmill, Your imagination and soul definitely went into your music, I can sense the emotion you feel in it. By the way, congratulations. You're the 1st artist to pull a tear from my eye by pure instrument and no lyrics. Thank you so much.
I always enjoyed your older tracks more but I hope you continue on writing music. These types of tracks make you one of the greatest artists I've ever listened to. Your music is way ahead of our time.
in november 2016, a friend of mine died in a car accident. Days before the crash I discovered this song and for me this song is part of that period in my life. It helped me so much, because the way this song is made, will take me trough some memories and emotions. Sad but also positive emotions. Sad, that my friend died, but positive in the memories he left behind and the things he gave me after the accident. I had some good conversations with some friends we have together and it made me realise how special this guy was. The kind heart he had. The morning my friends and I came to his family house, to offer our condolences, we were amazed by the amount of people that were there before us and how long the line was after we said goodbye. The family extended the time of condoleces for 2 hours, just to give all the people a moment to say goodbye. We will never forget that moment. Every now and then I come here to appriciate this track and the memories I have with my friend. Thanks Blackmill, thanks for this emotional masterpiece.
thank you jesus for this music

@SuperdoggyMusic
8 жыл бұрын
+Matthew Collinson Pff, if you're going to be a grammar Nazi, at least get it right. First, the contraction "You're" is short for "You are", so you're using it incorrectly. You should be using "Your" instead. Also, you say "a childish remark like, 'You just got rekt'", which is incorrect because he didn't say a childish remark *like* that, he said exactly that. Also, you forgot a period before the sentence, "What a hypocritical remark!". And finally, using "childish" statements is not a grammar error. The emphasis of your comment should be that he misspelled the word "wrecked", but instead you put emphasis on the fact that he used such a statement. Next time, don't be a troll, "Cuz u just got rekt!!11!!" :P

2018... i will always come back here to listen to this masterpiece.
Love how Blackmill's music doesn't age, still feels the same as when i first listened to it
This song was in the new game Steep! I was so happy and amazed that your music made it into a video game! :D Congrats Blackmill!
It seems literally impossible to dislike this song. I've never been more at peace lol

Time flies man. Great music never dies.
I cannot explain how incredible this song is. There is something unspeakable within the music. It literally makes my soul cry. I cannot find the words to properly explain it. It makes me want to cry in the deepest most emotional way possible. I feel like it pulls on my pain deep down inside and somehow it makes me feel overwhelmed. It's so intense and unexplainable. There are only a few songs ever that stir up an emotional response from me and this song, there is just something about it. It makes me feel like this is the song I will hear when I die and finally reach the other side.

You've stated this perfectly. I didn't have the words, and here they are! This is music you feel DEEP in your soul, and you feel many emotions at once.
beautiful don't let your heart break, give life another chance...
I can listen to this music over and over and over again so euphoric yet calming and nostalgic feeling.
I remember back when I was 19yrs old spending most of the time listing to blackmill.....thks alot blackmill for making such a wonderful n peaceful mindset
This is one of very few songs i keep coming back to even after 8 or 9 years.
that's absolutely the most melodic song i've ever heard. thumbs up for blackmill and his interpretation of dubstep music.
No matter how much time passes, somehow this song always finds its way back for me to hear it at just the right time
