Should say. Capcom did made him justice, not only making Blackheart more recognizable, but also did a excellent job with his design in their games. The in-game sprites and artworks really make Blackheart look like a freaking THREATENING creature.

I love how the people in the mall is so chill. Like dude, there's the end of the world bringer fighting in front of you and they're like "yeah, that russian wrestler will for sure beat him"

Capcom made Blackheart iconic and to this day, their version remains his most recognisable one anywhere in Marvel.

I think BlackHeart is mostly known because of the Marvel vs games

It's was Dormammu that took Blackheart's place. Blackheart wasn't seen as relevant, IIRC. I remember him being asked about all those years ago, but I'm not entirely sure if I remember what the response was.

Well in marvel super heroes vs street fighter you could see in one of apol tubs that inside one of them is ghost rider abd black heart is playable in that game so they almost met

Man Disney really doesn't understand how to use marvel in games Blackheart got a huge boost just because of this game. The devs picked a lot of these characters just because of how they looked and their potential for the medium MvCI was forced to be an ad for the movies and it suffered greatly for it

I really do see Capcom's take on Blackheart as a masterpiece of spritework from that era and very innovative in the moveset point of view too. Him along with Sentinel are great examples a of huge size 2D Spritework with alot of intricate animation.

The most UNDERRATED villain in the Marvel pantheon. You HEAR ME? Underrated!!

Marvel superheroes blew my mind when it came out, it was far beyond its time, 1995 was the peak of capcom's greatness.

Agreed! Can't wait till they make him an imposing villain in the MCU later on! I'd say the best thing that could happen is if just like in Ultimate Alliance, they have him be more connected to Doctor Doom as the central enemy. If there's 3 villains that have been done dirty in the Marvel movies, it's Blackheart, Doctor Doom and Galactus. They gotta make their comebacks soon 😩

As much as I enjoy the MvC series, his Ultimate Alliance appearance I cherish the most, UA will be easy top 3 best Marvel games IMO. Plus Blackheart in general is a very slept on villain

100% couldn't agree more. Just recently bought the Marvel Legends Toy Biz figure since I had such fond and feared memories of playing Ultimate Alliance as a kid (Mephisto's Realm was scary when I was younger lol. Loved his design nonetheless)! I never knew of his Marvel Vs. Capcom appearances until much later. They clearly gave him good care in that regard and it shows! Spritework looks absolutely astonishing!

Marvel ultimate alkiance was game that open memories i seen them before

One of those rare magical moments in gaming where an obscure choice for a crossover roster ends up being one of the best things to happen.

I remember back in the time i hated this character in marvel superheroes, but then i ended loving it and waiting for more appearences in other games... never happened only in that other marvel ones, but i wanted an update... never happened it was the same sprites :(

The Film had glimpses of his true form when he first appeared, in the church and in the Cemetary(As Legion) at the end. Also, he first appeared in The Comics in human guise(Looking not dissimilar to Wes Bentley who would later portray him in "Ghost Rider"(2007) which shared a director with "Daredevil") in "Daredevil".

Black Heart is the fastest character in Marvel History, in counter-hand it's not the most agile. (Fastest, cause it's a spirit Most agile, cause it's not human). I dunno if you can get me. A spirit is faster, but it can't move wisely cause it has no body. A human being, is agyle, cause he has a body. Speed, has no limit. Agility, has limit. I'll make a character whit both, Black Heart's speed, plus Spider Man's agility.

In case all of you don’t know what comic BH is in he made his debut in Daredevil inferno sage and was in 3 of those issues, he’s in ghost rider because he is mephisto son, fantastic four, he teamed with the hellfire club in From the X Men so that’s one of those comics and he is in others but I forgot just google it

Hello people from the future who first hear about this guy when he is introduced into the mcu

I like how he was totally fucked up in that silly movie ^^ Marvel Super Heroes is such a gem. I prefer the less hectic one-on-one fights with the infinity gems adding some spice over the VS-series. Graphically, it’s probably only surpassed by SF3 (within the Capcom titles). In all other games, MSH characters had cut animation.

Man, he must not be that popular if this is the amount of games he’s popped up in
