They just nail the vibe! Every detail is catered to. Very underrated band.
Saw them live like 2 years ago. They are amazing and sooo kind. After the concert they had a meet and greet and it was such a nice meeting ❤ they are so down to earth 🥰
Thanks for your reaction videos on Blackbriar. 1) you do it well, honestly and "pro" (and that's not always the case with reaction videos). 2) by adding your video, you surely help YT's algorithm to finally understand that this band is at least as valuable as Nightwish or Epica. Personally, I searched for over a month in July-August on YT for a band like them. And it was when I read a comment on an Epica video that I finally found the gem I was looking for. This means that YT's suggestions still haven't understood how obvious Blackbriar is. As you say, they deserve more attention and KZread is still not helping them enough.
I read a little bit about this group, and most of their lyrics they got them from books about the Salem trials. And this song is supposed to be a curse that she is casting on a guy she loved and accused her to be a witch. "When you hear this following tune, you will now that I will be with you soon"
I always think the same about burning witches: I wouldn't risk it xD I totally agree with you: the attention Blackbriar pay on details is staggering. Musically, in the lyrics and in the videos as well! Coffee well deserved, thank you! Well, if you want to complete the "Witch Trilogy", you should listen to Confess! Which would sit just between the witchy acts of Weakness and Lust and the (supposed?) death of the witch. No video for that one... if you prefer to enjoy a video too, you'll for sure love the creepy crescendo of suspense of The Séance! :D

Thanks for the suggestions! I can see my work here with BB isn’t done. There’s so much to explore. Also thank you so much for the coffee! 😀
I love seeing someone get as excited as i do to listen to new Blackbriar! I also really enjoyed your analysis of the sound and details, really spot on. I completely agree they are very underrated, ive been saying that since 2015. I like what you said about bands reaching out to others. I really love, appreciate, and respect a band that engages with fans and even involves them in projects and ive never seen a band so dedicated to their fanbase as Blackbriar is. I'll leave a few suggestions. "Arms of the Ocean" "The Seance" (the Acoustic version is also incredible) "Fairy of the Bog" (currently newest song) "Until Eternity" "Deadly Diminuendo" - there is no video to this one but Zora's vocals are insanely good as well as the song.

Honestly, this band has been an absolute joy to discover! Thanks for the suggestions!
There is a narrative/theme through a few Blackbriar songs, with 4 in the mix...."Lilith Begone" is about a woman attacked for demanding equality, "Confess" is her rigged trial, "Weakness and Lust" her mocking confession to all ills, and "I'd Rather Burn" her curse to her executioners on the way to the stake. The most recent Blackbriar (non-collab) "Fairy of the Bog" gives a voice to the 'Lady of Yde' a young girl sacrificed some 3'000 years ago (approx) but preserved in a marsh (bog) and discovered in the 1960s; and is awesome
This is the first song and video I found by Blackbriar. I'm now hooked. So amazing.
Thanks PrymalChaos for the Blackbriar reaction video. I've been a fan of the band a few years now and they never fail to amaze me. As for other Blackbriar song's I'd suggest "Deadly Diminuendo" - "Preserved Roses" or "Mortal Remains" Cheers and be awesome. PS you might also like (Dorothy "Rest In Peace" )- (Temperance - "Pure Life Unfolds") - IAMTHEMORNING 5/4 ("From the House of Arts" live video) check these out if you have time though I imagine schedule is booked. =)
Fantastic reaction dude! I discovered them round about your first reaction and absolutely love it, and love you supporting them! My favorites are "Fairy of the Bog", their latest single, and "Lilith be gone" and "Selkie" and of course W&L which you reacted to. Would love to know if Floor and Zora could perform covers of each other's vocals? They are both Dutch after all... More BB please! Best wishes from Namibia
