He Died 30 Years Ago, Now His Family Finally Confirms What We Were All Thinking

He Died 30 Years Ago, Now His Family Finally Confirms What We Were All Thinking
Famous for being able to complete a painting in under an hour, iconic artist Bob Ross fascinated audiences with his “wet on wet” technique for several years. Thanks to his charming personality, unique hairdo, and lighthearted sense of humor, he quickly became a fan favorite, while teaching millions of people his method on PBS’ “The Joy of Painting”
Even after passing away from lymphoma, his fame never ceased and he even gained new fans on streaming video sites like Twitch and KZread.
Yet, there seemed to be something off about Bob that was hard to explain, an unspoken tragedy that traces back to the early 1960s, when his journey started from the last place you'd expect, the United States Air Force.

His son still did not get anything from his father's inheritance. The kowalskis got everything. They robbed Bob's family and continue to do so.

I had no idea about the Kowalskis. But I can tell you this much now, I will NEVER again purchase another item that uses Bob Ross name. And as an Artist myself, I’ll be sure to pass the information in this video along. Their ill gotten gain won’t follow them to the judgement seat of God, but their evil deeds certainly will.

Despite the Kowalskis being blood-sucking, horrible human beings, I still watch Bob Ross because in this current world of doom and gloom, he truly does bring "Joy" to life, even decades after his passing. The Kowalskis can have the money; no one will remember them in the end.

I had watched him paint on pbs over 30 years ago. I was 6. I didn’t think that I could paint something that good. Bob inspired me to try…Thanks Bob🫡 Blessings to Mr Robert Ross and his Family!

Shame on the people who took advantage of him and his family. I really enjoy his brushes and paints and find they are quite different than other options. I don’t like that others are profiting from it but it keeps his legacy alive. Rest in peace Bob. God bless.

I loved Bob Ross!! Watching his PBS shows was the first time I felt like I might possess a tiny bit of creativity. I now have 3 pictures that I created, hanging in my dining room. Two done with colored pencils and one done with soft pastels. No, they weren't Bob Ross style paintings, but I give him total credit for awakening that creativity in me. Bob Ross will always be my hero. And I agree with a previous commenter. No one will remember the parasitic Kowalskis. All their money did not give them peace or happiness.

Bob was my first teacher. I was disabled and in an electric wheelchair many years ago. I decided to paint, to learn to do what I had always wanted to do, since I could no longer work as a nurse. I bought paints, brushes, and canvases and followed along with his show. That was SO long ago. And I am still painting. Though I have branched out in styles and media, Bob is still watching over my shoulder while I work!

Although I have been painting for quite a long time, Bob Ross really made everyone feel that painting is easy and you can do it. Watching him on PBS and then I bought all the series DVDs which I watch them even now. I have painted many paintings in his style, some I kept and some I gifted. Even today I use his techniques and there are some videos on my channel dedicated to him, which I finger painted on ceramic tile using Bob Ross Paints (which I have lots of them). I can't get enough of watching him paint surrealistic and colorful scenes. Even today I learn something out of them.

Bob Ross was a humble painter that taught everyone how to see the world in a beautiful way. A viewer didn't have to paint. We could watch and hear the gentle sound of Ross' voice to escape from the pressures of the world. It is a shame that the Kowalskis were so desperate to make money that they couldn't fully understand Bob Ross' message, to share an omnionce of peace and calm through art.

William Alexander was the first guy I saw oil painting on PBS. I loved his "happy little road" and all the other colorful phrases he used while painting. He was the creator and host of "The Magic of Oil Painting" (1974-1982). Then Bob Ross came along with "Joy of Painting" (1983 to 1994). Ross studied and mastered Alexander's technique, 16th-century painting style called alla prima (Italian for 'first attempt'), widely known as "wet-on-wet". Both were great painters in my humble opinion.

He had an amazing ability to draw people in. I remember as a kid someone would change the channel and bob would be on painting. Slowly as each person in the house noticed or heard Bob on tv, they would come in and get mesmerized by him. By the end of the show, everyone in the household would be in front of the tv watching. Many years later i was in a medical facility and i happened to catch the Joy of Painting on tv in the clinic lounge. Same thing happened, slowly one by one people would get sucked in and by the end of the show a big crowd of people were in the lounge watching the show including some of the medical staff. He had some kind of special power to lure people into watching him paint. He made painting look so incredibly easy and his demeanor voice and appearance was one of a kind.
