I am a US Marine Corps Vietnam Veteran (Platoon Sergeant). I loved this movie from the beginning to the spectacular twist at the end. I was so moved by the scriptures, reflecting on my combat and post-combat life back home until the ending caught me by surprise. It snapped me out of my " Thousand Yard Stare". I love being a Marine...."Once A Marine, Always A Marine". Semper Fidelis Marines. Ooorah!

That was one GREAT ending. For those of you watching or about to watch, hang on to the end. You will not be disappointed. Whoever did the editing and the music in the final fight is quite the master. It jelled together so smoothly yet was so gripping with emotion and tension. Another master at work. Whoever wrote the eulogy at the end also.....a master with the pen. Very inspired and well thought out words.

Just general comments commending the quality of the filmmaking, something we see so rarely these days even though there seems to be several movies released every day. That does say much about what we're doing with our time when you think about it. Can you imagine what we could learn and accomplish if we didn't ever watch movies and TV? It could be staggering.

A great movie!❤! Which is depicting clearly that when a marine is no longer of any use to his country, although he was injured to defend it, his country abandons him and only fellow marines,take care of one another! A very sad truth, indeed!

this movie i heard good and bad things about but from what i just watched i think it was an amazing movie kind of a plot twist at the end really threw me off. it portraited what kind of demons soldiers really fight and what they go through to attempt to overcome, some win the battle and some end up paying the ultimate sacrifice in the end to help a fellow brother in arms. all in all great movie well written , produced and put together LOVED IT

i think igot more involved with this movie than i realised,finding myself tensing up during the fights.it took me away with it,and i felt i was there.a lot of emotion in this film,fine acting by everyone,and it seems everyone has their secrets.i would consider this film worth your time to watch,it's good to the last bit.

Wow wow wow now that was a real good movie and the music by NF was on point also I have been listening to him for a while now but damn that was sad yet inspiring as well. I kept passing on this movie and decided to finally watch it and it honestly caught me way off guard. Totally awesome it shows the love of real brother hood and how putting others before self is so powerful

How could you say, this was a real good movie, in real life our soldiers die for the greed of politicians, not the people. There is nothing good about using, and abusing young people, destroy their lives and their loved ones, for more money for Bucsh, Cheney, and Obama, and all liberal elites!
