I captured shaky footage of an immature Black-shouldered Kite on a windy morning at Hunter Wetlands National Park. It was difficult to hold the camera steady in the buffeting winds, despite the camera's excellent image stabilisation ability. During the edit, I stabilised the footage with Adobe After Effects.
I composed the haiku a couple of years ago for a kestrel in similar circumstances. I have revised the haiku to suit the latest subject.
