Here’s how racism showed up in my life: I was laid off from a job. In searching for another, I found a US forestry job that looked like it was tailor made for me-it listed qualifications that came right from my resume. I went to apply but was told I could not apply because my skin was the wrong color. “Is this America?” I asked. “How can you discriminate against someone based on race?” “Oh, we’re not discriminating.” I was told. “It’s just that the position is reserved for a minority.” I asked “How long has this job been open?” She said “About a month.” “How many people have applied?” She said “None.” “But you can’t take my application?” “We cannot hire you, because you’re white.” Tell me again about racism? I’d really like to understand.

My family came to this great country in the 1930’s, they actually left Poland three days before the Nazis invaded. And trust me, immigrants had 0 white privilege in this country in the 1930’s. They were not given a place to stay, money for food and rent, and they had to prove that they could be productive citizens. They were on their own as soon as they were released from Ellis Island. The border jumpers of today have no idea what Ellis Island even is. My people had to earn any kind of privilege they eventually had. Unlike today where all you gotta do is show up. And no, I am not going to give up what they worked so hard for AND EARNED!!!

A lot of them feel guilty about either things they didn't do (slavery for example, even if they aren't related to any slavers) or about how they feel about another race (some may legitimately think poorly of another race). Many are also desperate to be "good people", and this is just a good way to feel good about themselves. Very few may actually be doing this out of the goodness of their hearts, but those guys are very naive. Some people may also be doing it because it may benefit them down the road as well, but it's mostly just a guilt/feel good problem.

I swear some people just go through life thinking racism is something only blacks go through. My high school was predominantly black and I had a white friend that got bullied by black kids simply for being white. They kept telling him it was payback for what his ancestors did to their people. Imagine the shock on their face when I a black person myself called them out on their BS. I also made sure to tell them that there is a chance that some of them most likely aren't even related to actual slaves in fact Many black people went to America after slavery was abolished. Of course, I was called a traitor and I'm tap dancing for the White Man I even lost a few friends for defending him but he and I have been best friends since. Also turns out I was right I found out from their siblings two of them weren't related to actual slaves.

It was traumatizing, it was racist so I don’t want to hear the baloney that Black people can’t be racist. As for me I don’t care about color, why does anyone still care about that? There are more important things in the world to think about like educating yourself knowing how to use a dictionary, that’s a big one, and knowing how to get along with other human beings!

It’s actually really just having a written historical record and a record of the accomplishment of your ancestors. The Renaissance, Industrial Revolution, the Enlightenment, The Computer Revolution, The Internet, the Printing Press, ect. It’s not that African tribes have nothing they have accomplished, it’s just many tribes have no written language to this day and so they don’t have any way to identify with anything but what they see in the mirror right here and now. A written Language means white people have hundreds and thousands of years of history to reflect on from Greek philosophy to Roman historians to the modern English Bible.

“Have you ever thought one way about something but realized your old way of thinking was wrong?” Yes, I grew up in an environment that taught black Americans can never be racist ever. Because of this, through my childhood I never saw racist actions committed by black people as racist. Luckily through education, recounting my own personal experiences, listening to the lived experiences of others, including black and non-black, I’ve learned that America has cultivated an epidemic of racists who can never take accountability or allow themselves to feel remorse for their actions. By trying to correct racism so aggressively, our society has allowed it to flourish by allowing certain individuals the ability to be as blatantly racist as possible.

What experience does is quell the ungracious entitlement. Work hard at a young age and gain wealth. Great! Life happens and lose it all at 30. Also great! Dust off, learn and move on. Accumulating wealth does not make a smart man. Dealing with what life throws at you with gratitude, discipline, and humility does.

My ancestors have been here since the start and guess what? My white family is still poor! My ancestors are a long line of farmers.

I feel like that video of the girl felt like one of those 2:30am commercials. Like I am waiting for the 800 telephone number, the side effects and the price list.

Let's take a step back and check reality ... I've seen other videos by Miss Thang (don't care) and now I have to wonder how often she's out in public dressed for a photo-shoot, walking around in circles with what she believes is a "soulful, thoughtful" expression on her face staring into (and mugging for) her cell phone silently. Now imagine what that looks like to the average passers-by ... LOL!

I can't thank you enough for covering important topics like this. Most people would rather talk about nearly anything else, and I can't blame them for that, but its not helping either. You are a beacon of rational thought in a world being overwhelmed with ignorance and delusion. Keep fighting the good fight and keep these little bitches on their toes! I know that the good and sane peoples of the world appreciate and respect the brave individuals fighting on the frontlines of our ongoing culture war, way more than they are willing to openly express today.
