This old Pastor is on my nerves. He's sinning right now by pushing this couple. I cannot believe he's asking dumb questions that he as a pastor knows. He's antagonizing, which is NOT of God. I guess he doesn't understand the FREEDOM we have in Jesus! We should still use the OT to guide us (as a template), but He's not keeping score. nor did he come to judge, but to SAVE! We are all born with Natural Sin. Jesus frees those of us who He knows and those who know him. This Pastor is too old-school. It seems like he doubts that the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob could forgive us because we believe in Jesus😊. 1 Timothy says in 1:15 15 This is a trustworthy saying, and everyone should accept it: “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners”-and I am the worst of them all. When a believer in Christ gets to Heaven, we will be as clean as the Wind Blown Snow. God did that for us!

They discussed wanting to move to Florida and we take over their house. Husband said it wasn't possible. I told him, with some tears "As your wife I support your decision." I continued to pray. Today he called from work that we can manage it within the next few months. My parents are fine with that. I've prayed for years, had to stand by my man, and God blessed us🙌🙌😭🙏🏽🙏🏽

All the church fathers did the same. Augustine of Hippo, James the just, even Paul, they all took what Jesus actually said, and tried to explain what it supposedly means. Jesus is quoted in my Bible as saying you need to believe in him and try to follow his ways. All these specifics humans came up with later, after he went away. Why would whatever they think or say have greater authority than what Jesus himself has said?

@@juggy-ik7qy There are different schools of thought when it comes to women being preachers in the Bible and it’s a pretty controversial issue within some churches. They hold to a particular point of view but Jesse keeps asking them the same questions over and over. It does seem like he’s not trying to have a conversation but trying to poke and and be confrontational after they already tell him their point of view. I agree that the Pastor and his wife could’ve responded better and possibly did their homework considering that they were going on his show and should know what to expect but at the same time, he knows what he’s doing.

Preacher's daughter here. I don't consider myself to be a religious person, either. My personal belief and experience is that families DO work better when the man is the head of the house and the woman. I think it's the natural order and suites the abilities we are given. This is an unpopular opinion and, quite honestly, it's hard to find men that will fulfill the role. Men have been feminized and weakened over many years by our society.

@@jeffreylewis2029 A prophetess and a judge are not PASTORS EINSTEIN. Read the qualifications for Bishops and elders. There is not a woman anywhere in the Bible in the office of pastor. It is reserved for men. That's God's order in his house or church. If u don't like it take it up with God. I can't find anywhere in the Bible God wants your opinion on what he has already established. 1 Timothy 2:8-15, the Apostle Paul provides the clear direction that the church needs to order its life in a way that is pleasing to God. In this letter, Paul writes to Timothy, his younger colleague in the ministry. Timothy was serving the church in Ephesus at a difficult time. He was facing problems of false teaching (1:3-11; 6:2-10) and confusion in worship (2:1-15). The church also needed clear guidance on the qualifications and task of its officers, the elders and the deacons (3:1-5:25). After giving Timothy instructions about the work of prayer in Christian worship (2:1- 7), Paul turns to give specific counsel to men and women as they participate in the public worship of God (vv. 8-15). In these verses, he addresses sins that tend to particularly plague each gender. Men must pray “without anger or quarreling” (v. 8). Women must prioritize godliness over glamour (vv. 9-10). Paul takes up a further concern relating to women’s participation in public worship. Paul first positively outlines God’s calling to women-“let a woman learn quietly with all submissiveness” (v. 11). The Apostle affirms the right of women to be present in the worship of the church and to learn, alongside the men, the Word of God as it is read and proclaimed. In this respect, female disciples of Jesus are in every way the equal of male disciples of Jesus. Paul then forbids women “to teach or to exercise authority over a man” (v. 12). They are, rather, “to remain quiet.” Women are to occupy themselves with what God has called them to do-to be quiet learners. They are not to take up the forbidden pursuits outlined in verse 12. What are these pursuits? Paul mentions two. The first is teaching. The context is important here. Paul does not forbid women from any and all teaching activities, even within the church. Rather, Paul forbids women from the public preaching and teaching of the Word of God when the church is assembled in public worship. This work belongs to the elders of the church (see 3:2; 4:11-16). The second is the exercise of authority over men. In the following chapter, Paul will entrust spiritual authority to the church’s elders, qualified men who have demonstrated themselves to be competent managers of their own families (see 3:5). We may summarize Paul’s prohibition in verse 12 in this way: women are not permitted to hold the office or to exercise the functions of an elder in the church. That's straight and to the point. If u still don't understand perhaps you have a learning disability. I don't think anybody else can dummy it down anymore for you to understand. Are u a pastor? If so you ordain women and let them teach in your church. I won't allow it in mine.

They both need deliverance because that smirk she had was very devious. She likes to control him through emotions. I would never sit in their congregation. Poor man couldn’t even strongly admit what the word he preaches says I’m afraid the word being preached would then be skewed and sugar coated to give people what their itching ears desire. I have to say, that this interview made me tear up. You see, we, my daughter and I, lost our Spiritual leader last year, my husband, her daddy. Today, while we were watching a movie, there was a scene where the husband and wife had a heated discussion. The father was right despite his wife having some very good points. I realized then that I really missed those kinds of fights. Sounds ridiculous, right. But, I learned so much through those disagreements. God would absolutely lead my husband in teaching me His (God's) ways. Yes, Husbands are the heads of the wives as Christ is the head of the church. And is also says that husbands should love their wives as they love their own bodies. Moreover, it also says that wives should respect their husbands. I personally think it not only means respecting him as the man he is but also respect the authority he has over me. Many women see this as misogynistic. However, this is not so because of how Christ treated everyone. Our husbands are to be Christ-like. Enough said.

I do.. And Jessie is correct. As a side note, the Bible does not support that a pastor of a church of any kind if it is a church that is representative of the teachings of the word of God and following Jesus Christ. Women are not, are not, to be pastors of the church, at all, ever! She can be a teacher over women but she is not to be a leader over men that are following Christ because Christ and the word of God follow the same example as he has set up for marriage it's the same way in church and the way the church is supposed to be set up. If a woman is a pastor you are in the wrong Church! It is totally antithetical to the way that the Lord has order set up for the church and for marriage. Why do you suppose that we as Believers in Christ are referred in the Bible as quote the bride of Christ unquote? This includes men this includes all believers because we are following the head which is the Lord which makes us the bride. Hello? So if there is a woman Pastor it goes against the Bible and against the teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is wrong. Jesus is the same yesterday today and forever. There is nothing new Under the Sun. Jesus changes not. So it does not matter that it is 2022. We still are to obey the word of God. It isn't hard to understand but everybody wants to twist things so that they can get their way and women are always trying to supersede men. That's the curse that was put upon Eve when she ate of the tree. Is that sinful nature that wants to supersede men of God. Notice I said men of God.

read the book of Timothy read the book of first and second Corinthians read the book of Ephesians read the book of Colossians from Genesis to Revelation it explains the order. The order of man and woman and family also is the same for the church which is why we are called the bride of Christ all believers are called the bride of Christ. I do not ascribe myself to any particular Doctrine or church I am a Bible-believing Christian. Doctrines are made up by men the Bible speaks for itself. If you know the word of God and if you are a born again Christian and you desire to know the truth then you will realize the order that God has placed from the beginning to the end of the word of God. With God there is order without God there is just men who are either puffed up in their own knowledge what they think they know or they are weak and allow women to say that they are called and they are teachers and leaders above men where they ought not be. That is the problem with today's society. Women it is not something that is bad or it is not permission for a man to be abusive or to be a lord over his wife he is to love her as Christ loved the church and gave himself for it as the Bible says. If a man only did that a 011% of what that means then a woman would be more than happy with that! When a man and woman get married they become one flesh but the spiritual leader and leader. Is supposed to be the husband and if he does it in the loving manner that is explained in the Bible then it is not a bad thing and it is not something that is to squash any woman's relationship with the Lord nor any calling that the woman feels that the Lord has placed on her heart but the Lord does not call women to be pastors because that goes out of the order that God has explicitly explained in the Bible. That's all I'm going to say because I'm not going to cast my Pearls Before Swine so that they can trample it under their feet. Some people just don't want to hear what they don't want to hear. Humble yourself to hear what the Lord wants to say and you won't know what he wants to say unless you read the word of God and ask the Lord the Holy Spirit to reveal it to your heart and really mean it and then you will see. Truth. We live in an upside down world.

Someone should tell them it’s a a sin to lie on what the Bible says and change the words to fit their narrative! That’s not Godly. Also, as a woman I’m not sure why some women take offense to Men being the head of their wife?! That doesn’t mean they’re allowed to mistreat us or we don’t have a say. Quite the opposite. People just take things wrong, IMO. They want Men and Women to be the same when we’re not! Men can do things I can’t and vise versa! This is a good thing. We both have our abilities unique to us and that’s what makes it work..both are needed. Anyways hope that makes since.

They can't, because they can't submit their own will. That's the problem. Submitting your will to the Lord. Not to some quote unquote Christian College, not to somebody you love, not yourself, but to the Lord. Nobody said it was easy. The world has trained people to think in a way that is not according to the word of God, this is no accident. Therefore there's a lot of confused Christians. Too many people in authority in organized Christianity. There is order in the word. This does not make a pastor perfect, it puts a huge amount of responsibility on him for the people that he watches over and his church. It is a tremendous responsibility. You don't decide to be a pastor you are called by the Lord and often it is with great anxiety and basically being scared. Example Moses. There are many examples in the Bible of being called with responsibility but being afraid and knowing what they have to give up.

Which is odd because Jesus answered questions the first church answered questions, apostle Paul answered questions. The word has the answer for everything but I’ve noticed the ones who turn away those with questions that make them uncomfortable is because they don’t like the answers the word has to give themselves. It’s counterproductive to the church to put out people over questions that even if they didn’t know the answer it could’ve been something everyone could study for.
