Your comment was part right. However seperation meant there would be no government church being protestants, catholic, Anglican, etc. In the old world in europe and Russia government churches where a common thing. You money supported that church if you liked it or not. Your taxes where paid to support that one government church. Most of the time they ended up corrupt and forced there will on the people regardless of what the public taught or wanted.

@@donaldarthur3497 Not only money going to a church you might not agree with, but some governments would actually arrest and/or execute people who weren't part of said church. That, among other things, is what separation of church and state is meant to prevent.

This happened to my daughter and I at a Walmart 10 years ago. We were going potty and a man tried to walk into the ladies room. My Husband was standing there, was waiting for us. He grabbed the guy and said ‘That’s the ladies room’. The guy looked at my Husband and smiled, he said ‘I know’. My Husband told him he wasn’t going in there. He argued and tried to force his way past. My Daughter and I came out of the bathroom with no knowledge of any of this. We checked out and saw a guy being arrested. My Son couldn’t quit laughing and the cashiers loved us. My Irishman threw him 20 yards. He limped to a police car. No boys allowed in the girls room, I’m an Irish girl. Try that shit with us!

And I'm very mixed, I'm actually more white than aleut, my classmates when I went to boarding school at first didn't like me because they thought I was just white(which is racist and in my village they are racist towards whites even tho they are part white!! Which is absolutely mind blowing and crazy!!) but really I do believe we are privileged, I mean the government just throws money at our village and it's in the middle of nowhere and there is less than 100 people there, yet they get hundreds of thousands of dollars to keep it going and to keep them fat (they are very fat and definitely not from just subsistence hunting) but really it just blows my mind. Sorry to rant, just saw this and had to respond. But I do believe I am privileged and I don't deserve it. But it's the world we live in unfortunately. The people that give us all the money we can hate, yet we can sit and be so proud to be native and hate white people just because of skin color, many villages in AK hate whites, it's crazy to me because I am more than half white, but again...sorry for the rant. I love all races, but we are supposed to be judging by character, not by color. Again sorry for the rant but God bless

The separation is an inheritance from British politics. Britain had literally centuries of Catholic v protestant wars. The founding fathers recognised that the solution is to categorically never mention any specific religion. & I do tend to agree that schools should be separated from any religion - including woke think. Schools should be for maths, science & literature. And religious churches should be freely available to attend. Not forced on young people.

I, too, just found your channel in the last couple days from a Metallica reaction, but it was the substantive political and ideological reactions that caused me to subscribe. I greatly appreciate your willingness to give a platform to all perspectives and avoid the echo-chamber mentality that is so pervasive today. Healthy, constructive debate in which our ideas and even our values are challenged is essential for the growth and development of both our ideas and our selves. I don't agree with you on everything, but that has never been a requirement for earning my respect which you certainly have...and we do agree on a surprising amount! I'm happy for your successes thus far, and I wish you many more in the future, sir

He's always been a democrat. Big time Obama fan. Trump hater. Until he started doing the political reactions. So he's still early in the stage of getting away from dem party. It's been awesome seeing him learn the truth. And seeing him learn the things that left media never showed. He didn't know about most of the crap the dems did or the things they were proven they lied about. He doesn't even realize it yet, but he's a Conservative. Everything he agrees with and talks about is totally conservative. I love watching him react to the actual truth about lots if things. Even historical things. Also, I first found his channel watching him react to Hank Williams Jr. Watched a few more various music ones, then saw him start posting the political ones. My favorite channel now, because he's willing to accept facts. As long as they are proven. Which is how it should be. He still hasn't put on the MAGA hat yet. It's hard realizing you've been misled your whole life about things, and be willing to accept that. Anyway, this is long! Sorry!! Lol! Btw, another fun guy going through this same type of "awakening" is Mr. Video, he does lots of heavy rock and is doing the political videos now as well. He's a funny guy. Usually smokes a joint when he starts.

Whatever greater power or insane odds that came together to make something like us that seeks to answer of "why we are" over "how we are" like all other forms of life on this planet...you can pretty easily see that we are not in control. Honey...I wish you could've realized that you didn't need your parents permission to get on aid to cover yours and baby's medical costs, or even to have help with buying formula and baby food. A lot of teens who get pregnant, still think that they have to do whatever their parents say to do even if it goes against what they think would be best for them and their unborn child. It's simply not the case. You don't have to have your parents consent to seek help for yourself and your baby, and you don't need them to sign for you either at that age. People incorrectly assume that someone can actually LIVE off of these state benefits without working, which is also isn't the case. These programs supplement your low income so you or baby doesn't go without necessary items like food, formula, and Healthcare. These programs are never meant to be a long term solution, more to help you until you get financially stable on your own. Too many people abuse these programs so, there's a negative view associated with people that actually use them correctly. Even if you would have gotten assistance, you would still have to had worked Macy's because you need cash for other things like gas, clothes, diapers, etc.

Another misconception about the past...my mother was on welfare for 20 damn years...all the while increasing her checks by purposely getting pregnant. There are reasons the rules are the way they are now. My mom was living in a California coastal town (oxnard) section 8, wic, food stamps, county pantries...she may not have been "rich" but she sure wasn't "in the gutter poor"... In my country standard of living is much lower then in usa but if you work you will do pretty good and also overher taking help from government unless you are in a really bad position is considered shamefull and turns out its a good point of view because everyone inluding young single mothers are doing much better on their own.. I’ve flipped between atheist and agnostic a few times in my life, and even I know what “separation of church and state” really means - it’s a very commonly misunderstood subject. All it really means is that the state should not establish a religion and have people follow it. There is religious freedom in this country, and it does NOT mean keeping religion out of the public square. It does not mean discriminating against a religion simply because it’s a religion. Add on top of that and my daughter was so upset when her college started making it so anyone could go into any bathroom. She did not want a man walking in at all. Not even one little bit. This guy Jesse is talking to is disingenuous AF and most likely lying to maintain a good image about what he would be okay with his daughter doing. Then again, he might not even care.
