Laoshu is the one reaching outside of his comfort zone and demonstrating what needs to happen - put yourself out there and don't be afraid! He is an inspiration to me. Not perfect at all, but I understood it perfectly! Language can be creative too! Haha 😄

A lot of people saying the Chinese man was being aggressive don't really see that's the attitude you should have when confronted with a truly formidable opponent , that's the ultimate respect you can show to a polyglot trying to take the game to the next level instead of not taking him seriously but just giving hypocritical patronizing compliments which you'd give to a guy whose only phrases are nihao and xiexie. Imagine the guy's reaction if he said 10 years. He'd be like "10 years and you sound like a 1 year old baby... NOT PERFECT!".

During my brother's wedding his Japanese father-in-law did a speech in English to make sure he made our side of the family feel included, you could tell he had spent months practicing it and was incredibly nervous, but it was one of those truly heart warming moments when people make the effort to speak in your language even when it's not perfect.
